Wendy Oaks RV Resort

This is a great RV park. We stayed here on our way to and from our destination.

Great place to stop at! Waking up with the fog coming off the water was beautiful! The hostess suggested a great place to enjoy some local food as well! We will be stopping again!

Melanie and the team at Wendy Oaks are amazing! We arrived after dark and they had a lantern waiting on the electrical box for us to use while setting up! The bathrooms are temperature controlled, clean, and well maintained! We look forward to returning again in the future!

We’ll kept park close to downtown Jackson. WiFi was good. Transient sites were level concrete pads. Bathhouse was dated but clean. Very Friendly staff. Recommend Country Meat Market and Tom’s Fried Pies just down the road

We hit the jackpot with this small diamond in the rough campground right outside of Jackson. If you find yourself passing through Jackson, this is an excellent place to stop. This resort is beautiful and peaceful with the friendliness people around. The owner greets every visitor personally, showing you to your site, and making sure you have everything you need for the best stay possible. I can’t say enough about their hospitality. • Located on Highway 49 so easy access(be aware of the u-turn required when heading South on 49, there is a back road route if don’t want to make u-turn)

Close to Jackson, MS and very shady. Nice level sites, with either a picnic table or patio with table and chairs. Several pull throughs, pet friendly. Laundry and bathhouse, wifi, wonderful host Melanie. Great place to stop!

Such a nice RV Park. We stayed in spot #1 and had a beautiful view of the lake, nice fire pit and picnic table. Our kids and babies loved feeding the ducks and walking around the lake. It was really clean and beautiful. Staff was super helpful and friendly. My only wish was that there was a playground for our kids but they said they have one ordered for this year. :). Can’t wait to stay again!

Melanie was so helpful! She sent me the RV pro map so it was easy to navigate to our spot, since we were coming in after 10pm. We felt safe and everyone around was very quiet. There was a fair amount of noise coming from the road, so I recommend having a loud fan or ear plugs if your a light sleeper. But over all enjoyed our stay. Our site was #24 and it was the best! Pull through site but also was across from the lake. Also was next to laundry/shower so we had a much bigger yard. We didn’t get to use it maybe next time!

Nice over night stop. Easy access, close to restaurants and stores.

Super friendly staff. Older campground that is dated but nice. On a small lake with some great views and friendly people all over the campground.

The grounds are well maintained with a beautiful view. A knowledgeable attendant welcomed us and escorted us to our site. Clean restroom and showers. With easy access to electric, waste and trash. 10/10 recommended.

This is a beautiful little campground. We stayed at a site on the water it was lovely with a bench and big porch swing overlooking the water. Spaces are big, clean shower house, trash can at every site. Host was super friendly . The only negative (and it’s not that bad) is you can’t see traffic from hwy but can hear it. Will stay again if get the chance. Great price too!

We stopped here on our trip across the country with our small travel trailer. When we called, the host answered right away and we booked the last spot they had for the night. Melanie was very helpful with detailed directions on how to find the campground. She said some of the information on The Dyrt was out of date, and she would fix it. The phone number worked to contact the camp but sending a Facebook message did not, so call to be sure you reach them. 

The shower/toilet area was large and very clean.  This place is right off the highway, so if you're noise sensitive you might want to consider that.  We left the AC running all night, and the white noise drowned out most of the highway noise. 

There is a pond on the property, but we're not sure whether you can fish there or put a small boat into it.  It was nice to look at though!

Right off Hwy , got in late , super nice , concrete pull through , some road noise but great stop . Lake there , pet friendly.

Wendy Oaks was the perfect stop on our way down to Florida. Beautiful views, lots of wildlife, super helpful manager, good Wifi, and full hookups. We liked walking by the pond and watching all the birds, as well as swinging on the bench swing. We had a beautiful fire ring and were so happy that it was warm enough to be outside and have dinner around the fire. I do have to say though, that if you are looking for an RV resort with all the bells and whistles you might be disappointed, but if you want a clean, quiet, nature-filled spot, with beautiful views this place is perfect.
