Park employees very nice. Location was okay. Behind an industrial park.
Nice campground with decent showers and bathrooms. Electric and water at every site. Nice playground by the lake. There was decent shade at half of the sites on the loop. The road was a little rough on the way in but not too bad.
Families and very VERY tall pine trees offer plenty of shade. Also a nearby attraction is the Lynard Skynard memorial monument off I-55 exit 8. Beautiful!
Families abound! Clean and well organized. Live entertainment on Saturday night. The welcome pig was a nice touch! And another morning watching him stroll by for his morning walk. You can feed the deer. They walk right up to you! Looks like they are planning more sites, currently under…

The place we go is in the national forest. You just pull up and camp in the woods. No amenities. Good hunting!

Unfortunately our trip was clouded by the rain...pun intended. As is typical for the Gulf Coast South... it rained and rained and rained. There were breaks that allowed for us to get out and do a few things. We went to the "beach" and the kids enjoyed it. Dont think of the beach as the typical…
We enjoyed this campground so much. Helpful staff, clean campground and beautiful scenery on the Mississippi River looking over to Natchez, MS.
They have a dog park, fenced in area, to let them run and play.
Nice campground. We stayed in back loop by lake. Sites were very narrow, no privacy, everyone is on top of each other. The site next to us had sewer hook up right on side of our picnic table. Lots of flies but no mosquitoes!
Nice campground. Bathhouse has had a facelift. 2 separate camping areas. The area up the hill away from the lake has smaller rv pads.
When we arrived the bottom land loops were closed due to recent floods. The upper loop has paved roads, pads were decent size with huge gravel rocks. Well spaced sites mostly level. Not a lot of shade, but still nice. signs of work being done every where, from parking areas to hiking trails. Very…
I came here once when we were kids, nothing popped out to me then as a kid.
Recently stayed there with my kids mostly because of nostalgia, my kids kinda had the same meh 😐 reaction.
Has a playground, swimming area was closed though.
This is another good park to come to if you're into…
We had our 1st trip there over spring break.
If you want quiet time, this isn't the best place but if you like a lively and busy one, it's for you.
Large pool, store and Cafe. Playground and jump pads for kids too

It's daddy's favorite site so much that the kids are getting tired of going even though they do have fun.
It is 1st come 1st serve except for the group as site.
Unless your showing up late Friday or Saturday usually spots are available. Last two times I've been the whole park is full even the…
This is a great campsite nestled in the Homochitto National Forest right outside Bude, Mississippi. The campsite has two loops with hookups for RVs and some tent campers mixed in. We stayed in primitive campsites right outside of the main entrance for no fee and used the park to fill our water.…
My husband and I spent Easter weekend here from Thursday, April 2 to Tuesday, April 6th. It was a beautiful and quiet campground.
There are two camper camping areas - A and B - and a primitive area as wells as cabins. We were in B area which seems more kept than than the A area. In the B area,…
