Great overnight stay

It’s a half resort half overnight camp type place. It’s know for being the first disc golf course in Indiana. Just a quick overnight stop, but the camp store was well stocked, bathroom and showers were clean. Camp staff met us after hours for check in and leading to site 31. Site was level enough…

Typical State run campground

Typical state run campground. Some sites are very close together, while some offer a little more room. Sites 221- 243, 202-204 offer lake views. I say VIEWS, not access.

Sites 228& 232 have sites with good access to the lake. Scattered throughout the park are sites with 50amp service. Fill…

Great Campground!

We had a great weekend camping at this State Park. From the front gate person to the camp host, everyone was very friendly and helpful. We were on campsite 13 in the electric campground. The site was clean and well maintained. There was a picnic table, fire pit, and a very level pad. The…

Lake view

If you can get a lake view site enjoy. Some spot are far away from the shower houses but you can drive to them. Nice marina with a great store and boat rentals

Love this place!

Its within an hour to home. Always a good time here. Always clean. Sites are spaced good. Close to out door range and not to far from Fort Knox paintball. This place is my goto for a quick getaway!

My old stomping grounds. Your basic Indiana woodsiness.

Came here a lot as a kid. Keep meaning to go back. Lots of pretty trails and canoeing opportunities. Last time I camped was near memorial day, and somehow it felt like the four of us had the whole park to ourselves. I can still smell the pine.

Your usual campground

The campground facilities are great, the hiking is excellent, and tubing on the river was wonderful. I highly recommend the fire watch tower if you hike through. Only real drawback is the neighbors are very close with few trees between sites

Incredible

A lot of the campsites were closed due to flooding but we managed to have a site that was untouched. During a walk, we stumbled down to the reservoir. The view was incredible and eye opening to my daughter who has never seen the effects of flooding. The site was awesome and we enjoyed our weekend…

Clean and quiet

Although we would normally wait until the last minute to book a site, we booked early this time, and were glad that we did. All tent sites were reserved a week before our trip, so best to plan ahead. We chose sites 4, 5, and 6 to accommodate our group of 7. Each site had morning shade only, and the…

Lazy river and relaxation. Great family park.

Canoe, kayak, tube. Fishing is good on the Tippecanoe. Birding is great. Marshy wetland areas near river makes this a high mosquito zone, so slather on the bug juice and enjoy hiking and viewing the natures preserves. Very open campsites, so don't expect privacy or solitude, but a friendly place…
