About

Welcome to Last Resort Campground! This spot is a gem for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy some good old-fashioned camping fun. The campground is packed with amenities that make it a comfortable stay for both tent and RV campers. You’ll find electric and sewer hookups, drinking water, and even a sanitary dump station. Plus, there are showers and toilets to keep things convenient.

One of the standout features here is the pond. It's perfect for fishing or just relaxing by the water. They even have paddle boats available, which is a hit with families. The kids will also love the playground and the game room. And if you’re into a bit of friendly competition, there’s a golf cart parade on Saturday nights where folks decorate their carts and toss candy. It’s a blast!

The campground is near Hanna, Indiana, right off US Highway 30. While you might hear some traffic and train noise, most visitors find it doesn’t detract from the overall experience. The staff here are known for being friendly and helpful, which adds to the welcoming atmosphere.

If you’re planning a stay, keep in mind that the sites can be a bit tight, especially on the full hookup side. But if you prefer more space, the sites around the pond are larger and more secluded. And don’t forget to bring some ant spray, as a few campers have mentioned encountering ant hills.

Overall, Last Resort Campground offers a mix of relaxation and fun activities, making it a great choice for a weekend getaway or a longer stay. Enjoy your time here and make the most of all the amenities and friendly vibes!

Quiet, reasonably priced rest spot.

We stayed here two weeks while visiting friends in the area. The site was a little small but was pull through and full hookup. Even though we were close to a highway and railroad, traffic noise did bother us. The wifi did not reach out area but I know they plan to expand it's capabilities soon. The best part was free access to the pond, paddle boats etc and friendly staff. The low points were very hard (with odd smell) water to the point where we didn't trust using the on camp laundry. Make sure you have a good on-line water filter.

Nice campground

This is a Passport America campground, so the rate was great! We only stayed overnight, and we had a pull thru FHU site that was pretty level. The spaces weren't too close. We didn't use the showers or bathrooms. The laundry room was clean and had 2 washers and 2 dryers for reasonable cost. We did have a picnic table and fire ring and the office did sell firewood. There was a nice playground and game room. They also had a pond for fishing. There was some train noise.

Nice campground, friendly folks

We wanted a place close to my elderly parents house and Last Resort fit the bill. Overall it is a pleasant campground with a pool, a pond, and some weekend activities. There are a lot of seasonal/permanent sites. We visited twice and had spaces along the East end of the pond. The sites are relatively level but both sites had a lot of ant hills so be prepared with ant spray or another repellent to keep them out of the camper. It is close to Route 30, so there is traffic noise, but not too loud.

One highlight, especially for kids is the Saturday night golf cart parade. After dark the campers with golf carts do a parade around the campground and toss candy.

Nice, clean,good for kids

Spaces are TIGHT on the full hook up side. We have a 21’ and hardly got in. We were super close to fellow campers. On the other side of the grounds around the pond (electric only) sites were much bigger and secluded. Despite the tight space, the kids loved it here. Lots of activities- pool, playground, pond, camp store with a variety of ice creams (kids love this) they had some chickens & goats the kids loved playing with. Christmas themed activities the weekend we were there. They had laser tag, candy parade, crafts etc... oh and bathrooms very clean!
