My husband grew up in this area and we live 15 minutes from Hardin Ridge and we never realized this was here! Our campsite was in Pine Grove, right next to a brand new bath house. The site was super shady and quiet. The sites are very well-spaced. Lake Monroe is a short hike, and this side of the…

We went in May for my birthday. Rained hard one day so our time was short. Ugh... First campground. Drive up, clean, semi secluded, bathrooms with running water/shower, nice little spot. Now the state park!!!! Seemingly endless trails, 6-7 waterfalls? We only experienced a couple this time.…

Took the family on a weekend camping trip to Hardin ridge and had a great time!! The only spots you can reserve are non electric which is what we got and still had a nice time in our pop up camper..The camp ground does have electric sites but it’s first come first serve!!! The camp ground has nice…

This year we stayed at spot 169 over looking the lake and it is everything you look for in a camp site..lots of room, a short walk to the water and a nice patch of woods behind the site! The site also is shaded most of the day making it very comfortable!!! Short walk to the bathrooms and showers…

The coordinates take you to one of the first campsites but if you keep going down the road you'll find many more. I suggest parking on the road and walking in to the campsite to see if it will fit your needs before driving in.
I hope you like horses. I was backpacking and got to experience horse camps up close and personal. There are basic toilets and a pavilion. Rest is an empty grass field.

LOVE this trail. Just challenging enough to make it worth it. Campsites I’ve great fire pits. Only downside is the drunk boat people that show up in the summer.

Great quit place to rest up for a few nights. The site has a toilet and water. If you head into the town of Paoli be sure to hit up the farmers co-op for supplies.
Super helpful friendly owners that quite frankly made our experience. They are also trying to improve the spot. This campground is mainly seasonal spots on the banks of the Ohio River. Close to the quaint town of Vevay, Indiana.
We live locally and travel nationally. Who would have believed this great park would be only 30 miles away. The grounds are very clean and well maintained, the sites are very wide and individual with the landscaping aiding the feeling of "private". There, of course, are never enough full…
There was literally only one hot shower and not in the area we were in. They were there johnny on the spot to complain about the littlest thing but never there to fix anything major, like hot water or removing the critters that apparently lived in the bathroom. But it was beautiful. The beauty of…
We spent the weekend here and absolutely loved it. It's perfect for our young kids. There are multiple playgrounds, over a dozen, and our kids loved traveling around to play on them all. The spots are level and nice, even if a little close together, which was our only complaint. But we were right…
So many great tent sites. Wooded. Row boats, kayaks.
This is one of our favorite state parks in Indiana. The camp grounds are clean and for the most part quiet. There is easy access to the park. Overall great experience!
There are just a couple of sites along the road. One is at the trail crossing for horses, hikers, and bikers. Its basically a make your own campsite. Ok place if you like to really rough it.
