Cozy Gem

This campground is cozy, friendly, and has a sweet sounding creek that you camp near. It has many kid friendly amenities as well as being very relaxing. Restaurants and stores less than 10 min away. Wildlife close also..we saw beautiful fawns drinking in stream.

KOA Lancaster PA

Had a really great RV experience at the Lancaster KOA. We have a 35 ft class A with a tow and selected an executive 1st row which gave us unobstructed views of the Amish farmland and lots of room (no shade). Place is spotless, great help at front desk. Will definitely come back

Just OK

The new owners are definitely working hard to improve but lots more to do. We have visited here a few times in the past four or five years and we see the improvements. The location is good for us since we live about 35 minutes away. The sites are level and there are often three point sites…

Central and well organized

This campground is great! We had an amazing time despite the rain. The campgrounds are central to everything in the state park and allow access to lots of great trails. (Sand Springs was our favorite) There we plenty of trees around to hang tarps and clotheslines. The facilities exceeded…

Almost perfect!

This campground was very scenic and clean. The only thing holding me back from giving 5 stars, is there weren't enough bath/shower facilities, there are plenty of port o' potties though . The tent sights are the small side(about 15'x35') but the atmosphere is relaxed and you are surrounded by shady…

Family Campground with great hiking

We have been to blue rocks twice for tent camping and it is one on my favorite campgrounds. The tent sites are separated from the RVs and are very large sites, so you have some space from your neighbors. There are hiking trails right from the campground to access the Pinnacle, Pulpit rock and…

Nice little campground

This is a smallish campground with many seasonal spots and some rental spots. Our spot was #27 and pretty spacious. The showers were free and clean with hot water and decent pressure. The landing for the camper was even with gravel and the rest of the site was mostly even. The power station was…

  • The camper was backed in, not a pull through site.
  • You can just see the site next to us through the trees.

Great family campground

This place only gets 4 stars because I thought we were going to have water and electric hook ups. They only have 2 kinds of sites, modern electric (only electric) and primitive. They have a potable water station and dump station and very few sites with electric hook up. They also have specific pet…

Amazing Place to Camp

We loved camping here. There is so much exploring to do. So much so, we made plans to come back really soon to do some more! We spent time at the awesome visitors center, the Shades of Death trail, the Boulder Field, the swimming beach, and spent lots of time hiking and taking in the beauty of this…

Pretty Camping in the Poconos

We had a nice four night stay here. Very pretty wooded sites. Fairly close together but trees provide some privacy. Nice lake for swimming. Visitors Center has nice educational programming. Overall very pleasant camping on no close to NYC.

Relaxing with a lot to do!

This campground is awesome. There is a lot to do in and around this park - such as hiking and swimming. The only con is that there are a ton of sites so it can get quite loud if all sites are booked. A pro? The campground store has anything you may need that you forgot to pack.

Our non-electric…
