I would suggest BREC Farr Equestrian RV Park if you are interested in being close Baton Rouge or LSU. A typical fairgrounds type camping area. Sites have electric and water. Remote dump site available. Bike path trailhead is there, with extensive pathways on the levee.
It's daddy's favorite site so much that the kids are getting tired of going even though they do have fun.
It is 1st come 1st serve except for the group as site.
Unless your showing up late Friday or Saturday usually spots are available. Last two times I've been the whole park is full even the…
We slept great here in our tent. Some things to consider: lots of trash left around the area, there was a fire still burning unattended when we arrived, car/truck/tractor/boat traffic is noisy at all hours of the day and night, no water for drinking unless you can dip and filter from the creek…
We recently stayed at this RV park and were severely disappointed.
The good: Close to everything. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable of area. Level sites. Reasonable price.
The bad: Nasty bathrooms with no soap or paper ( this is our experience) Super small showers that need updating. A…
One of the most beautiful camp sites in LA. The geography here is not like anywhere else I have seen in Louisiana very nice and the owner is super accommodating.
What can I say, tent camping, not much traffic and secluded enough with enough comfort for the kids.
It's a peaceful place to camp. Just make sure you bring all your supplies you think you migt need because there isn't any store for miles.
This IS NOT the Indian Creek Recreation Area located in Woodworth, LA. This campground is located in Independence, LA.
We stayed here for the weekend in Site 184. It was a great location right across from some water where you can easily put in a kayak. They also have great walking trails that…

My boyfriend and I camped here in October and had a blast. We enjoyed that it was walk in but still had running water and hook ups.
At $20 a night this place is a steal! Water and electricity at all the sites. Amazing views!, lake playground hiking biking plenty of things to keep busy.
The pictures on the banner are from Indian Creek Recreation Area. not Indian Creek Campground and RV Park
Nice nature feel to the campgroud..its primitive but does offer potable water for cleaning equipment and such..had a great time camping here
Nice campsite..we had the area to ourselves..alot of hiking trails nearby for all different skill levels..the terrain is amazing couldn't believe I was actually in Louisiana
County equestrian and RV park close to downtown. Stayed here recently while attending an LSU football game. They have a shuttle that provides round trips to the stadium. Nothing fancy about Farr Park, just convenient if you love horses and football.
Spent the weekend camping at one of the improved sites with water on site. Site had picnic table, fire pit, and plenty of room for tents and your camp set-up. Our site had a great view of the creek and was a little more tucked away but right by the bathrooms. Trails are throughout the area, couple…
