So sick!

This campground is so cool. Takes a bit to get to, and you’ll wonder if you’re at the right place at first, but you are! It’s so peaceful and tranquil. We parked right by the water and had full hookups for only $15. The dogs loved going on walks out to the fishing pier and boat ramps. We wished it were warmer so we could have taken the kayaks out. The sunsets on the gulf look stunning and cell service is off the charts because there is a tower literally on the campground. Highly recommend. Oh! It’s CASH ONLY by the way. Don’t make that mistake because the closest atm is like half an hour away.

Off the beaten path but worth it

Great place to relax and enjoy a great ocean view. Great fishing. Not close to shopping but exactly why we RV!

Beautiful sunsets!

The views (and the sunsets) here can’t be beaten and most of the sites were right on the water. If you like to fish and are in a fully contained RV, you might find this place ideal to get away from it all. We travel in a 17-foot campervan, so this does not fit the profile of the type of camping we prefer, however, it was fine for an overnight.

When we were there, the facility needed some upkeep; we were told they have been trying to fix the problem of water on the floor in the men’s room for a while. There was a noisy sewage treatment plant that detracted from the area.

The cost was very inexpensive ($14) for an electric hookup site, although there was no visible separation between sites.

We saw an alligator swimming by in the water that was separated from the campsites by only a short rock wall– yikes! Victor, our campground host, was very friendly and offered great suggestions for our next destination.

One of our favorite parks to camp

Very reasonable rates, great fishing, Ken is very friendly and helpful.  The only thing that it lacks is water hookups on each tent site.  The new fishing pier is awesome!  Just make sure you check the weather to see if there are any coastal flooding warnings.  We weren't aware of this on our last trip and got flooded.  We know, now, to make sure to check before going, and absolutely will be back on a regular basis.  LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

Reasonable rates

Reasonable rates. Water front camping on the bay. Good fishing from the bank or boat. Has playground, boat landing, bathhouse and a new fishing pier. Has water, electric, sewer and WiFi. RV sites are a little narrow but can accommodate any length. Golf carts allowed with no extra charge.
