This was one of our pit stops coming from San Francisco through Utah and to Arizona. This is a great site with great bathrooms and water fill ups. Area is super clean and great for photos. Highly recommended!

While our first impressions were terrible (we did not love our originally reserved site - #33), once we moved to another available spot and started exploring, we ended up having the time of our lives.
The campground itself left a lot to be desired (lots of trash, half the sites are extremely…

On my way into Sequoia NF I was so excited to see Hanning Flats dispersed camping area. My pup and I stayed for three nights and didn’t see another person or vehicle the whole time. So peaceful, quiet, sunny, green. My dog did get lots of ticks and we had a mouse find its way into the van but I…

Everything is clean and tidy! Nice large trees to shield you from the unrelenting heat. Great WiFi speeds. We were only passing through for one night but it was easy setup with modern hookup posts. We even had over 60+ digital channels when connected to the cable.
Booked a site at lake Isabella but it was ugly and windy. Went to look for a better campground and found this gem on the Kern River just a short bit away. Beautiful sites next the the refreshing Kern River. Couldn’t have worked out any better!
I really loved this campsite. It's not too big and you get a lot of privacy and shade with the trees. There are bathrooms and a water spigot throughout the site which makes things a lot easier!
There is direct access to the river. We camped right at the riverfront so it was nice to wake up,…
At first we were a bit disappointed but overall it turned out to be a good location for going to the Trail of 100 Giants and the Kern River. The WiFi didn’t work and the bathroom only had two showers. It needs to be updated but it was clean and the people were nice.
Noting special. Small place for friends . No one around no restrooms
We enjoyed the 3 days we stayed here in January. it was cool at night but warmed up in the day. The kids loved to explore and climb the rocks. It is dog friendly and sites are spaced out pretty well so you have plenty of space around your camper. Overall, worth a 1 or 2 day stop as your…
We used this as an overnight on the way from Joshua Tree to Seqoia when we couldn't find a spot at the Walker Pass Campground up the road. It was right next to the road, so not exactly quiet, but we were alone and got to hit the road nice and early. Great for what we needed. Pretty dark skies if…

We had a great time floating on the river, sleeping in tents right by the water, bathrooms were clean and easy. Staff was so cool
I really enjoyed our time in this campground. At first I was a bit upset because they prohibited campfires because of the high temperatures during the summer but this did not ruin our stay. We loved the peaceful environment and the hiking up and down to go swim in the river. Lots of fun little…
Tucked in the mountains, you feel very peaceful. Nights were beautiful with all the stars lighting the sky. The caretaker was nice to show us a gopher snake too.

The campsite is really nice if you looking to get away from big crowds. You have to get there early if you want to get a shaded site. Working toilets were a plus and you have room to work with when setting up your gear. The lake or river you do need to drive too which is the only negative remark I…
We camp here every year. Usually late shooting to early summer. Camp grounds are well maintained. Would not recommend camping on holidays. Close to 2 lakes ming and hart Park.
