Dockweiler Beach RV Park

Really incredible location, was snow to book last minute by calling and checking for availability. Can't reserve by phone but was able to confirm availability. Prob easier to do in off season, add it is Feb not the summer.

Pricing is 75 for closest to beach 65 to furthest in RV 40FOOT LIMIT super chill, quiet hours are 9pm Love the space, fire pits on the beach. Pet friendly

Pretty good. Smells a tiny bit like black water fumes.

We were here in november for 3 nights. Expensive for a narrow pad / parking lot. The far bathroom was without toilet paper, the near one dirty since early morning until same time next day. Public beach building had the best toilet available...

Beach is close but in winter no view due to sand wall. Slightly smelly ocean, not sure what it is ...

A lot of load airplanes (every minute or so) - which we were of course expecting but are detracting from the beach vibe. Bright lights that are on all night.

Anyway, as far as I know still one of the best places to camp close to LA/Hollywood as there ain't so many, but it is far from great

Stayed in the dry-camping area. #128. 19-20 foot max length. Right on the beach. Airplanes landing were noticeable, but the sound just faded into the background after a while. An odor from  water processing plant just above the campground wafted down every once in a while. You noticed it but it wasn't bad. Bathrooms were clean. Took a nice hot shower there (no extra charge). There's a bike path a few feet away from the camp sites. I really wanted to try it out but unfortunately it was raining the whole time. Only half the dry sites were used even on the weekend in November.

Nice place very close to the beach with amazing Pacific view. All connections in place; sites very close to each other; a bit loud due to airport nearby. Very friendly staff. In overall good experience and recommend it :)

We loved this spot next to the beach. We got used to the planes, but they are certainly jarring at first.

Review of dry campervan section of park only, which seemed considerably more quiet and less chaotic than the big RV area...

Amazing beach front sites, expected noise from road and airport but you can still hear the ocean, super lively/loud beach on weekend, very chill weekdays, right off a very nice coastal 20+? mile walking/biking path. Went to a concert last minute at SoFi just 15 min away. Would definitely stay again if I need to be in LA.

Great spot where you are never alone. Depending on the season, the lot can be packed. It is accommodating for some different size vehicles and has direct beach access and some amenities such as fire pits on the beach. It’s hard to get a better view than this one

We parked right by the Pacific Ocean, watched planes from LAX fly overhead, and soaked in a stunning sunset🌅. It was the ideal place to settle into our campervan life as a Desi-Filipino-Canadian family on a 5000 KM adventure.

We had a dry campsite a bit further from the airport, so the plane noise was much less

It’s a beautiful spot with ocean view. It’s also near Santa Monica and Venice beach. Space is big enough for a bigger RV. The only negative thing is - it is very noise because of the airport right next to it.

Youre packed like sardines but it's beachfront. It's noisy if you have party neighbors but they do turn off the music by 1030 ish so it's enforced. You hear planes flying and tmobile wifi is not great at the campground but good when on the beach front. It's at prime location in LAX so that was nice to go around town. Has full hookups. We would come back again if we need to be near LA area.

Dockweilder is an awesome camping experience if you love the beach and airplanes. With LAX less than .5 miles away, you get the pleasure of plane spotting 24/7. The bike path is in front of the campground and it will take you all the way to Redondo Beach or Santa Monica.

Check out the local town of El Segundo. It has some great dining options and looks like Mayberry.

Cell Reception: Great

The RV park has a hookup area and a dry camping area. The hookups are full of large rigs, very close one with another, in a parking lot style. The dry camp provides much more space, but only relatively small RVs.

Pros: The park is right next to the beach, walk 1 minute and you're there. There's also a bike path that goes for miles both north or south - great for an early workout. Restrooms are clean and have showers.

Cons: You will hear each and every if the planes taking off from LAX, but at one point you don't hear them anymore. It was not really annoying, but that flight at 5a was...

Los empleados que nos atendieron fueron muy desagradables, se estaban riendo de nosotros literalmente. Tras pagar la reserva nos dice que nuestro Jeep Wrangler no puede acceder al camping porque no está camperizado, cuando nosotros disponemos de fregadero, nevera, cocina. Todo ello incorporado en el vehículo . Se negaron a comprobarlo. Y simplemente nos dijeron que tardarían entre 40-60 días en devolvernos el dinero.

Nice dry camping sites next to the beach with clean bathrooms. Hot showers for men but not for women...probably it was just a problem in the morning.

Nice place. Right on the beach. You are basically parking lot camping,but you are on the beach. Did I mention you're on the beach.

The most fantastic thing about this RV spot is the location - directly facing a large, beautiful, clean beach with built in fire rings, a very long bike bath and bike rental kiosk. You can step out of your RV and be right on the beach in minutes, for long walks, biking, sunbathing etc. The bathrooms were clean and park is located close to many LA attractions. Also, RV parking is very limited in this area - it is LA. The downsides are that it is basically parking lot camping and you are directly under the LAX flight path which means large and noisy keys overhead all day long. For us, the pros outweighed the cons. We quickly were able to ignore the airplanes and being able to walk out and do my morning yoga on a freshly raked beach was heaven!

They have a very efficient way of checking their quest in. Staff was very nice and helpful. Bathrooms were very clean. The problem is the spaces are very small and beware of the ones on the north end the front of your vehicle will not be facing the ocean. Early morning you will smell the reclamation plant across the street.

Close to the beach Excellent location

The location can't be beat! It sits right along the bike path with open ocean views. Site is well maintained and has a small community feel. Great spot where many locals go to enjoy the beach.

If you are an RV enthusiastic, this is the best place for you in LA! Beach front and city in the back!!!!!

This is a pretty great RV campground. One of the only in Southern California/Los Angeles area where you can have a fire on the beach.
