Amazing campsite

Everything was great about this campground. Showers, phones service, WiFi, showers and locks with passcode on the bathroom doors and a pool just to name a few things. Weather was great and we loved everything about staying here.

Camping with a Pop-UP Trailer

This was a pretty nice campground. We were at group site 3, it has a covered picnic area and flat area for tents closer to the river bank.

We called park services to make sure our camper was allowed (Twice) and it indeed it was. However when using a pop up you are essentially camping in the…

Out in the middle of no where....

My family would camp here once a year for 4-5 days.  It is dispersed camping, so there are no hookups or designated sites.  It is primarily for off road enthusiasts, however, we just came out here to enjoy the desert and go for walks.  We would usually go toward the end of the year when it is not…

On the River spot!

We love it here. Try and get a spot on the river, it’s like having property right there. You’re own private fishing resort. 80* on Memorial weekend.

Beauty between mountains

There are several very dispersed spots, but its all open so dont expect too much privacy or shelter from the wind. Gorgeous sunset to sunrise. Watch eagles prey on ducks, pelicans gather, hear the frogs croak. Gnats get a little crazy before the bats show up. Nightime lights permeate the sky…

Brite Lake 👍

Brite Lake is a small lake but you can definitely catch some fish! You can camp right up to the water which was awesome! It does get a little windy at times but nothing too crazy 👍

Peaceful getaway!

What a terrific campground! Up at about 4000’ elevation, the night sky is clear and bright!

We drove up the one lane, two way road and luckily didn’t have to pass anyone. Look ahead to see if anyone is making their way towards you as there’s only a few pullouts

Small campground which is very…

Secluded sites

You won’t get lost if you use the app called “WAZE”. Address on WAZE app is, “ Forest Rte 25S04 “ It’s a maps app just like Apple Maps. The app works even when you lose signal! It will take you right to the camp sites if you start the destination while you have signal. If you drive a bit further…

Should be underwater

Water is low due to them repairing the dam, where I'm camped at should be underwater and it is gorgeous. The night sky has no light pollution, and is beautiful enough to knock you off your feet because of all the stars. Good location. I would definitely do this again. I'm planning to stay for the…

Cool Visuals But Hot & Windy

We came through RRC in early May, 2021. Weather can be unpredictable but it was super hot and very windy.

FYI - Google maps tried to bring us to a non-spot a few miles southwest of the actual site.

RRC is an interesting spot - fairly well spread out along a single road which was fairly busy…

Great campground

Great campground. Very clean and the staff was helpful. General store has everything you may need if you forget something at home. We booked last minute so we were unable to get a riverfront spot however our campsite was still nice and have a river view. Would definitely recommend booking early and…

Little Hidden Gem

Quaint and cute little campground nestled in the hills. Spots have picnic and fire pits available, with clean newly updated bathrooms near by. Lots of big boulders and trees on the landscape, providing ample shade and beautiful full trees in the summer.

HEAD UP: You do need an Adventure pass to…

Beautiful but not Dispersed

Gorgeous location right on the lake, the waters clear and there’s a generous amount of trees surrounding for shade. I haven’t stayed the night here yet, but when I called the number available the ranger said their process is reserved only at least 24 in advance online $30 a day- quite far from the…
