Peaceful!

Nice and quite! There wasn’t many people at this site. It was very relaxing. And the views are nice. Rangers were friendly as well!

Bathrooms were top notch clean!

Careful for poison ivy nearby.

Too loud, too hot and too close together.

Sweltering hot and the campsites are just too close together. Probably delightful in the fall or spring.

Quiet campground but bumpy ride

We were at Red Feather campground at the end of July. The campground itself was nice, quiet, clean. But the drive into the campground is nerve wracking. We are from northern california so we are usually fine but bumpy roads. But towing a trailer I was surprised to find the drive in was partially on…

Overnight Stay

We stayed one night. Really enjoyed the area. The river close by and all the beautiful trees, flowers and plants. Will definitely stay again.

Great place to camp

Great place to camp. Easy to get to, maybe 15 minutes from town. Hiking, 4 wheeling, fishing. One of my favorite places to camp.

Fantastic three days

Had a great time at this site! The individual sites are distanced enough so it still feels private, bathrooms and water was available. Hiked the pioneer trail and then went swimming in the lake nearby. Plenty to explore around here, ill definitely be coming back.

Golden

This campsite has great amenities with restrooms that have a sink and REAL toilets. Very clean. Large secluded site with the forest behind you. Beautiful landscape with a history of hydraulic mining. There’so

a trail to a nearby overlook to see the stripped hillsides. Although I dislike the idea…

Close to road but still fairly quiet

Nice campsite with good space between sites. Bathrooms have no light or ventilation so they got hot. Lots of folks showed up after dark and were quiet and respectful.

Hot Smoky summer nights

Aside from the smoke and the heat these campsites are very spacious and wide open. Bear boxes are a must if you don’t want the big guys in your camp. We never had an issue but many other campers did. Lake level is definitely low but that was to be expected with the lack of rain this year.

Great getaway!

We spent two nights doing a family and friends reunion. We loved our rv spot, the rest of the group had great tent site and glamping tents. Facilities were super clean and nice. Pool was small but the pool area was really nice. Great location for swimming in the Yuba river!

not to bad but resort feel

This is a Thousand trails camp ground. Its has a small (very small) lake. Good fishing for fun. The camp ground is broken up in 4 sections. the first has full hookups but is very small and tight (like will my slide hit you tights) the other one on the other side of the lake is bigger but has no…

Great place for a stop

Pros: huge sites with grass and trees. Big enough for the largest RV’s.

Cons: no river access and a naked guy sitting on a bluff.

Nice quiet RV park

I have stayed here several times as a waypoint on my travels between California to Washington. It is a nice safe quiet park that has many pull through spaces for RVs spending the night. I have used their website to reserve a space and then pick up the paperwork outside the door of their office.…

Bidwell Canyon is the place to go

Out of all of the campgrounds around Lake Oroville and within the state park rec area by far Bidwell is THE best..it's clean, it has cell service plus wifi if you need it, pets are ok, 2 to 3 boat launches, spots to fish, great showers and bathrooms plus the park rangers that run this specific…
