By far the best campground I've been too.
I was on campsite 044. Really secluded surrounded by trees, close to bathroom and water faucet. The bathrooms are clean and have toilet paper. Right next to a river, where the sound relaxes you. Flat ground for the tent and in no sight of other campers.…

Camped here in spring when it first opened for the season. COLD and snow flurries, but still such a memorable and great experience. Most sites seem to be well spaced out and good amount of privacy. Lots of sites are along the stream. Great access to Mt Whitney trailhead. Hiked to Lone Pine Lake…
The tent camping sites were pretty small. Beautiful, but our site was pretty far away from the bathroom, water, and creek.
The connecting for all hookups and far. I never had to use my sewage extension until now. Just a little bit of extra inconvenience. That didn't make the experience bad, the flea and mosquitos really made us cut our trip short. I got about 50 flea bites and the wife had about 20 mosquito bites. Hope…

We stayed here while visiting the 2 parks. It was very convenient for that. A very no frills park, we did not use any facilities while there. It was a decent spot to base from. There is not a lot around here for groceries or restaurants etc. it met our needs and the price was reasonable.
I have now been to this campground 3 years in a row, and can still say it's my favorite I've ever been to.
Great location, drive up, many trailheads right out of the campground, river runs right through it, big spots, inexpensive to reserve, the list can go on. Would give it 6/5 stars if I could
Great place by a river/creek, hiking everywhere nearby.
This was my first experience in an RV park with hookups. Generally we camp in spaced out spots that are a bit more secluded.
I liked this campground from the standpoint of the kind folks running the place and working at the general store. There’s a stocked pond for fishing that is really good for…

Came in on Friday at 3pm and got the last space available. Very windy for most of the afternoon and didn’t calm down till night fall. Had to use my vehicles a wind block so set up my tent. Good host on site and decent restrooms. Travelled in April so it was still close to freezing at night. Not…

Great place to stay. Close To town(Bishop). Close to lots of lakes and tons to do and see. Very clean,
It was a long windy drive up to the summit there’s a swim hole along the South Fork Tule River at the base of the mountain towards the lake in Porterville that has natural rock slides. The campsite has a huge meadow in the middle and beautiful views of trees. On the opposite side of the mountain…

Stayed here for a 1 night visit June 30th. I stayed in spot 162 and it was not the best site, but still good. Close to the river and bathrooms but in the middle of the loop so you felt like you were in a fishbowl a bit. All the sites were clean and well maintained with BIG bear boxes. A couple…
Let me start out by saying I am a volcano Junkie. It all started with Kilauea! So when I saw a fossil Falls I had to go investigate when I saw lava Fields. They knew that I would come across mounds of dinosaur bones I was mistaken. However this place is awesome! Scorching hot in the summer time!…

We arrived on Sunday afternoon. The weekend crowd was moving out. We had the campground A Loop to ourselves. Really nice to be out of the Valley heat.

It would have been a good site for a tent but we are traveling with a roof tent. Our site was a bit uneven with no way to level it. Otherwise the site was good. The area is popular so it was a bit crowded but not overly noisy for the number of people. There is access to the river for a cooling dip.…
