Pre-Covid, I would go to la jolla every memorial day weekend. Its very family friendly. I highly recommend this location to camp.

Walk and relax

The facilities were clean and the rangers were around for questions. There was a group there with loud music the second night and no one there to stop it so it persisted throughout the night. The area around the camp ground is nice with a park and places to hike. Will go back for sure.

Fun close to home

We had a wonderful long weekend at the La Jolla Indian campground in March. It snowed on Palomar mt and so we were able to go up enjoy the snow and then come back down the mountains in around 30 min. We loved the sites some are smaller than others and the ones right on the water are not always the…

Please, please, PLEASE spare yourself. This campground is total trash, literally. There was trash all long the river, the algae was disgusting that I couldn’t even let it splash on me let alone let my 9year old tube down the river. Zip lines? What zip lines? That place look deserted not even…

Great Dispersed Camping in Angelus Oaks

Dirt roads were well kept. I came with a 170 wheel base Sprinter Van w/ 2 wheel drive and had no problems making it to site post #11. I arrived on a Wednesday and had a quiet stay. I saw 2 other RV’s in other sites on the way in. My site had a picnic table and a fire pit. I had spotty internet on…

Nice quiet campground

By quiet I mean not a lot of human noise, but the birds! So many talkative and beautiful birds to enjoy. We stayed here during the second weekend of July and while it was pretty hot, it was only about 1/3 of the way full and still very quiet. The only issue we had was the BUGS. Definitely prepare…

Not for us but….

256 campsites with access to the lake. Not busy during the week, but a hopping place for families with water sports in mind. A playground and store make it more like a village. Campsites are close with no real privacy. Great staff and clean sites, worth a visit for the right folks! Hot air balloons…

Beautiful Idylwild

We tent camped 3 days 2 nights during Memorial weekend with 3 other families. We really enjoyed the drive up Idylwild, beautiful scenery. I think the sites are a bit too close to each other, I would prefer more space between sites. But it's a quiet campground, everyone goes to sleep early around…

Packed Parking Lot RV Space

Reserved 2 days at Lake Perris SRA looking forward to a relaxing RV experience.  RV site 293 stated E/W/S... The sewer was not at the site.  When we made the ascent into Lake Perris, the view of the lake was beautiful.  I was relieved because i wasn't sure what to expect.  As we veered away from…

Quiet get away

This was a great quick get away for my family and I. The kids all love fishing at the pond on site. Plenty of space between campgrounds. No issues with hook-ups or amenities. Pool was still closed due to COVID restrictions but looked clean. Paid about $95 for a 2 night stay.

Was a little…
