All campsites have picnic tables, raised fire rings, tent pads, bear boxes, and paved parking spurs. The units have brick pavers to provide an accessible surface. Adjacent to the McCloud Bridge Day Use Area. McCloud Bridge is a very popular campground for easy lake access and is located on an old ranch site that is set among fruit trees, sweet peas and berries.

Ellery Creek is located on the McCloud Arm of Shasta Lake. The campground is terraced, providing views of the lake from all of the lower sites and some of the upper sites. At certain water levels, boats can be moored on the shore within sight of the campground, making Ellery Creek a very popular place to camp among boaters. Recreation A public boat ramp is located approximately 4 miles away at Hirz Bay, but informal mooring is allowed at Ellery Creek if the water levels are sufficient. This area is popular for water skiing and jet skiing. Lake Shasta offers excellent fishing for trout, catfish, Chinook salmon, crappie, bluegill, white sturgeon, brown bullhead and bass. Facilities Each site offers fair to good privacy and sufficient shade provided by the deciduous trees in the campground. There are two sets of vault toilets and water spigots throughout the camp. Each site has lockers for food, picnic tables, fire rings with grills, paved parking spurs and tent pads. There are no showers available or electric/water hookups for trailers. All sites at this campground can accommodate small trailers as well as tents. Ellery Creek

## Overview

Antlers Campground is situated on a bluff above the Sacramento arm of Shasta Lake. The campground has beautiful views of the lake. There is no access to the water from this campground. The Public Boat Launch is right next to the campground for great outdoor activitites. The grounds are heavily forested with pine trees, oak and Manzanita that provide shade and some privacy. Easy access from I-5 makes Antlers is a very popular campground.

## Recreation

Shasta is perfect for everyone whether you are a boater, angler or camper. There is something for everyone. Enjoy multiple marinas and natural wonders making it the perfect destination for adventure. 

Different Species of fish in Shasta Lake include rainbow trout, brown trout, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, spotted bass, Chinook salmon, bluegill, black crappie, Sacramento sucker, white sturgeon, squawfish, white catfish, Threadfin shad, brown bullhead, golden shiner, green sunfish, riffle sculpin.

Trout fishing – best during spring fishing on the McCloud Arm north of Hirz Bay, The Sacremento arm, Big Backbone Creek, and Little Squaw Creek, during summer trout move to deeper lake levels – successful baits are live minnows, and marshmallow /egg combinations. Successful lures used for trolling are Kastmasters, Rebels, Thinfins, Z-rays, Z-r or X-5 Flatfish, and Rapalas.

Bass Fishing – Good year round but best during spring and early summer, fishing in shallower waters is best. Successful baits are mostly live baits, rubber worms, and spinner baits.

## Facilities

Each site has a picnic table (two in double sites), lockers for storing food, fire rings, grills, and tent pads. Sites at this campground can accommodate both tents and RVs, however there are no electric/water hookups or dump stations.   
  
There are both flush and vault toilets at this campground but no showers are available. Drinking water is provided.   
  
Interpretive programs are hosted at the nearby amphitheater every weekend between Memorial Day and Labor Day. For more information, please call 530-275-8113.

If the reservation was made through recreation.gov please call 1-877-444-6777 to make a refund request. Refunds must be requested no later than 14 days before your scheduled arrival date for a full refund (excluding recreation.gov fee’s). 

Refunds for Check or Cash Purchases: Refunds for cash payments will be issued a check refund. A refund will be processed within 30 days of receipt and approval. For cash or check refunds please call us at 530-275-8113. Please Note! Refund requests made during or after departure can only be processed when approved by the facility management staff based upon local policy. 

Refunds for Emergency Closures: In the event of an emergency closure the Recreation.gov will attempt to notify users and offer alternate dates and sites (as appropriate). If this is not possible, reservations will be canceled and all fees paid will be refunded. 

Refunds for Naturally Occurring Events: Refunds will not be issued for naturally occurring events like rain, snow, wind, smoke, extreme temperature, low lake level, etc.

Antlers

This site is surrounded by hundreds of acres of BLM public land and has views of the Keswick Reservoir just below the site. If you love hiking and mountain biking, you'll love Walker Mine Campground. There are miles of well maintained trails right along the Sacramento River and the Keswick Reservoir ready to be explored with private trail access close the campground. Ride and hike up the Shasta Dam and then down to the Keswick Dam on a great trail that traverses clear around the reservoir. Serenity and privacy would best descibe your stay with us!

Guest Access:
This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! 

Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed with a memory foam mattress. The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that___s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night. 

Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. 

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location.

If a Tentrr Host submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the host's property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Your Tentrr Host is unable to change or cancel your reservation on your behalf, and they are unable to waive any cancellation fees (if applicable). Greens Creek is one of four boat-access only campgrounds on Shasta lake. Located on the McCloud Arm of the lake, this facility is popular with those visitors who want to get away from the crowds. Whether or not the access is difficult varies depending on the current lake level. There are vault toilets and no piped water. This is a pack it in, pack it out facility.

## Overview

Whiskey Creek Group Picnic Area is located on the northern shore of Whiskeytown Lake in Whiskeytown National Recreation Area, 13 miles west of Redding, California. The Group Picnic Area is a popular spot to celebrate birthdays, family reunions, work events and many other special occasions with a day of waterside fun. This is a day use area only. The hours are 9 am to 9 pm for reservation holders. Alcohol, smoking, and pets are prohibited. 

## Recreation

During the summer heat, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing are popular activities in the Whiskey Creek arm of the lake. Boats may be launched at nearby Whiskey Creek Launch Ramp and moored along the shore of the Group Picnic Area. 

## Facilities

The Group Picnic Area contains one large site and two small sites with dirt surfaces, each with two large serving tables, numerous picnic tables and a large charcoal barbecue grill. We recommend that you bring your own portable shade structures as there are no permanent ones at the site. These sites do not provide electric or water hookups. Two vault toilets service all sites.

Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is situated where the Klamath Mountains, Cascade and Coast Mountain Ranges and the Sacramento Valley meet, creating a wide variety of wildlife and landscapes. The Group Picnic Area features a protected cove for swimmers.

Bailey Cove Campground is nestled in a forested area on the McCloud Arm of Shasta Lake. The site is a popular destination due to its convenient access from I-5 and the adjacent public boat ramp.   
  
The area surrounding the campground offers an abundance of recreational and sightseeing opportunities.

The campground provides access to the 3-mile Bailey Cove Trail. This trail hugs the shoreline and is open to both hikers and mountain bikers.   
  
Lake Shasta attracts anglers due to its wide variety of fish. Boaters can access the lake via the adjacent boat ramp, and boat rentals are available nearby.

Each of the 7 sites has a tent pad, picnic table, raised fire ring, bear boxes, and paved parking spur. Brick pavers have been used to provide added accessibility. Flush toilets and drinking water are provided.  
  
There is a day use area adjoined to the campground and boat ramp, which provides parking and restrooms and pic-nic tables with bbq's and hiking trails.

Hike until you find a spot to watch the marmots, then return to your campsite. For more, backpack another 23 miles to Reds Meadow where you can catch a shuttle back up to Tuolumne.
