I love this place, & have everything you need to enjoy the outdoors, with friends and fam! The area can get dirty very quickly during the weekend! Due to many careless visitors leaving Trash 🙈. Can't wait to revisit and little green orb 👽🔥⛺ it is in the Pix 🎾🥎👽

Wrong Coordinates

The coordinates listed are incorrect. They led us through Angeles National Forest. It told us to park our car in the middle of the highway with no other roads or turn offs around. There were a TON of cars racing through down the roads. We even witnessed the immediate aftermath of some people racing…

Out in the middle of no where....

My family would camp here once a year for 4-5 days.  It is dispersed camping, so there are no hookups or designated sites.  It is primarily for off road enthusiasts, however, we just came out here to enjoy the desert and go for walks.  We would usually go toward the end of the year when it is not…

Small and well kept

Overall Clean campground. Well kept restrooms and showers. Park with playground and softball area was a plus. Just wish some of the rv spots were bigger. We stayed on the site #20 which was a good, Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Brite Lake 👍

Brite Lake is a small lake but you can definitely catch some fish! You can camp right up to the water which was awesome! It does get a little windy at times but nothing too crazy 👍

Peaceful getaway!

What a terrific campground! Up at about 4000’ elevation, the night sky is clear and bright!

We drove up the one lane, two way road and luckily didn’t have to pass anyone. Look ahead to see if anyone is making their way towards you as there’s only a few pullouts

Small campground which is very…

A place to stay if you must.

Full hookups, concrete pads, picnic tables. Many full time campers parked with junk around them. The grounds need a ton of cleanup. Not the safest feeling being in this park.

Creek Gorgeous-ness

Crossing the tiny bridge at the west end of Switzer Picinic area(park up top during the weekdays, adds half a mile), you’ll see Switzer Trail Camp. You snake up the hill(keep an eye out for those btw) and see breathtaking views from the top of the canyon, veer to the left down the hill and go…

Cool Visuals But Hot & Windy

We came through RRC in early May, 2021. Weather can be unpredictable but it was super hot and very windy.

FYI - Google maps tried to bring us to a non-spot a few miles southwest of the actual site.

RRC is an interesting spot - fairly well spread out along a single road which was fairly busy…

Clean & beautiful

This place has a great vibe, it's beautifully maintained and very clean. Plenty of great hiking trails! The rangers and staff are very attentive and pleasant. Other campers there were awesome and fun too!

Sadly, the water levels are down at the moment, but the camping portion of things were…

Not the Same

So me and my family decided to go because our normal camping place turned into an RV park. When looking at the website this place seemed absolutely beautiful! But when we got there that wasn’t the case..our campsite was DISGUSTING. People left trash and cigarettes all over our campsite. Our…

A nice little somewhat hidden spot

This campsite feels like it’s right in the midst of a neighborhood. It’s tucked away from the street and you almost wouldn’t know it’s there! Loved this small and well kept campsite.

Some of the sites are very small. We picked a site towards the back (which actually once you drive through is…

Little Hidden Gem

Quaint and cute little campground nestled in the hills. Spots have picnic and fire pits available, with clean newly updated bathrooms near by. Lots of big boulders and trees on the landscape, providing ample shade and beautiful full trees in the summer.

Beautiful but not Dispersed

Gorgeous location right on the lake, the waters clear and there’s a generous amount of trees surrounding for shade. I haven’t stayed the night here yet, but when I called the number available the ranger said their process is reserved only at least 24 in advance online $30 a day- quite far from the…
