Private site, friendly staff

Stayed one night. The site was private and we put up two tents with plenty of room to park a vehicle and still had plenty of space. A short walk to the lake where you can rent SPBs. A quick drive into Dells for groceries. Ghost Ship tour was worth the money paid.

Spacious close to water parks

Nice campground with spacious sites. The B sites are shaded and seem larger than the rest. We stayed at site B6, which as far as I could tell is the largest site at fox hill. Their store is very large with just about anything you’d need available, including a generous RV supplies section, and…

The Pros: campsites were spread out and did have nice natural separation. Lot of big biting horse flies, but hey, we are in the woods next to a lake…

Cons: vault toilets cleaned but not maintained. Saw 2 (including ours) with non functioning lighting. Hand sanitizers where empty the whole stay.…

Perfect for kids!

This is an amazing property dog friendly and very kid orientated! So many fun things to do a huge fresh water pool with inflatables! Mini golf and a lot of events! Live music wine tasting everyone is so nice! They have a great country store with everything you would need.

Great rates and large sites

Found this great little campground when I was in a pinch to find a place to put my 45ft fifth wheel. Super friendly staff, rates are reasonable and it is big rig friendly.

Simple and average

It's a fine campground but nothing particularly special about it. Prices feel a little steep, and there's practically no privacy between sites.

But overall it's clean and and easy to get to. Not a bad sight for a night or two by any means, just really average.

New Campground small but very nice

This Campground is pretty nice there's things to do for the kids it is clean because it was just started up I believe in 2018. So right now at your campsite there are no mature trees for shade. It is a small Campground which is nice cuz it's not too busy and loud. They have a train that comes…

Love These River Sites

Beautiful sites on the Wisconsin River. This was my 2nd time staying here. The hosts are awesome and the sites/ bathrooms are clean! We did the kayak trip with their sister campground. All around great people and even have a bar. Nights were relaxing.

So Much to Do Worth a Second Visit

We enjoyed this park so much we have already been here twice and have a third trip planned for this coming September.   There are very wide bike/hiking paths that are paved or stone.

The huge lake has boating opportunities and you can rent a boat in McFarland that is a short drive or bike ride. …

Ok for first outing

The staff were super friendly. This was our first outing with our new camper and it was fine. The 30 Amp outlet didn't work on our site but thankfully we had out 20 Amp adapter with us. Our site was also kind of small for our trailer. This campground has a ton of potential and could use some…

Good/quiet go to campground

This campground is like your ma and pa place. Staff was super friendly and so was the other campers staying there, kids and adults waved to us. A few activities every weekend and really enjoyed the charity bingo, it brought everyone together..... Now for the disappointment, we went when it was…

Great, private camping with no electricity!

All in all was a great experience. We stayed at site 37 in Blue Bay campground. Reception was spotty, at best. Vault toilets were a one shot deal. Bleck!! We brought a camping toilet. They have showers and flush toilets not too far. They sell campwood by the bundle, for 6 bucks (9 pieces). Decent…

This is a beautiful site, and I would give more stars. But, there was no camp host, no one at the office to check in when we arrived, no one cleaning the bathrooms, and no one enforcing the 10pm quiet hour rule. I don’t mind the pit toilets, but at least clean the building. And at least have enough…
