We stayed at Beech Fork in our overlander tent, right on the lake. The sunrises were absolutely spectacular, tons of blue heron and ducks every morning floating on the water. We canoed through the lake and found an amazing site with a beach several miles from the campground only accessible by boat…
KOA staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were able to stay extra days with out any problems. It was A practice run for us since we just started camping . For our first adventure every thing worked out fine. The campground has miniature golf , A playground, A fenced area for dogs a pond and…

Rude! Employee even warned us that the owner is a bitty!! Nothing to do!! Save your time and money!!
I haven’t camped here yet but I love their beach area. It’s small and easy to keep track of small children. The scenery is beautiful as well
Loud road noise, but for free electric hookup, it’s worth it.
It was a nice location with nice scenery but the campsites are packed in like sardines when I go camping I want space from people that doesn’t happen when everyone is packed into the campsites. The other campers were nice but there were also some that weren’t.

Sites are not very level but they are separated somewhat. Don't eat at the lodge... I've had better food at Speedway gas station.
The park is nice and well maintained. The loop we were in was super cramped. There is not much space between you and the next site. Very little cell reception which was just fine for us! Pit toilets and a few flushing ones next to the showers.
Not far from home, and good choices of type of sites. Biggest negative is no wifi or cell service. But quiet, family friendly, and some sites away from activities to chill out at too.
I LOVE camping here, unlike a lot of camp grounds they're actually within the woods so you feel like you're actually part of the forest and the nature. It's a simple place, they have showers and restrooms. The hiking trails are scenic and pretty and the lake while not overly big, is clean and great…

Lake Hope was super crowded and the sites felt like they were literally on top of each other. It also was not super clear on which site was which. Our site was on a hill, but there were 2 sites, one at the bottom and one midway down so we had to ask. Luckily both were not booked and they let us…
It’s such a peaceful place to visit. Kids can play without worry.
We have stayed here a couple of times in a tent and a class a motor home.
The campground is pretty secluded but beautiful rolling hills. While the site we stayed in with the motorhome was fairly level, sites are mostly small and tight on hilly terrain. That said, I would still recommend…
Campground was well maintained, even the pit toilets. Our campsite was huge #46. But some sites seemed very small. It’s a short drive to the lake house for the beach and boat rental. The food at the Lodge is delicious! The drive to get there was rough. Don’t count on GPS. Look it up and plan it…
Always clean sites well spaced out.
