Passing through and stopped for the night. Place is closed.
We prefer state parks but had to stay here at a KOA because of availability (Labor Day Weekend). My biggest complaint with KOAs is the tightness of the sites - this one was not bad. They had concert pads for the picnic tables (loved that). But we were in the first loop and we were far from the…

We only stayed one night but it was a beautiful stay. Did a little day fishin’ even though there weren’t any catches it was still a great time. Family friendly site. A lot of bike paths. We had a really late arrival and it was such an easy process to find our spot. Clean and efficient campsite.

While the park itself is essentially a big parking lot, it is smack in the middle of plenty to do! The lot is level and the spots are pretty large, with different types of hookups. I'd recommend as both a layover and a destination.
Great atmosphere, very clean and lots of things to do no matter what
This site is tied to the hotel and you must park at hotel prior to entry. There are pull-in sites with full site hook ups at location. The views once hooked up are gorgeous but this is a tight fit especially for those with slides.
Two things I loved:
- Very clean well maintained site with…
Loved my stay at Audra State park. We were right on the river, surrounded by trees and could barely see the neighbors. Good walking trails nearby. It had a small camp store, and was dog friendly. I would definitely go back. The only warning is the road is narrow and bumpy so big rigs be cautious.
My campsite was on the river, which was nice, but people did come through my campsite at times b/c it was easier to get out there. The site was all gravel and shaded. The people running the camp store were lovely. I had my dog and the campground is very dog-friendly. Recommend this campground to…

Great little campground in the middle of WV. Just off Highway 79 but far enough away you feel like you are in the wilderness. The campground has 4 distinct areas for rigs which keeps it from feeling it is a RV parking lot. Most sites are pull through with full hook ups. You check in at the hotel…
Great stay at Holly River State Park
Bring a kayak or tube to have easy access the the water right on the campground! Spaces had plenty of room to spread out. It takes about 20 minutes to get to stores so make sure you’re prepared. There is a store on property for things you’ve forgotten though. Signs say no alcohol on the lake. We…
Cedar Creek is quiet and clean. The trails are decently marked, and the fishing is on point. All the campsites are electrical hookups. 4 different bathrooms in the camp area. I definitely recommend this spot if you have kids.

Very friendly park staff. Extremely helpful
Clean grounds and easy to find from the interstate. Small park and outdoor pool. The laundry rooms and washhouse were extremely warm but otherwise okay. Free ice machine.
Good Verizon signal but WIFI at grounds is pretty much not existent. Pull through sites with a cement slab, picnic table,…
This is truly a spectacular campground. Spacious separation between lots, very well kept, the bathrooms are immaculate. An absolutely beautiful setting on the crest of a mountain. There are 3 trails you can take right within the campground. The downside is no cell service for Verizon. I don’t take…
