Check in was effortless. Small but easy to get in and out. Full hookups and cable.
This camp site is easy to find but that is about it as at night i woke to the sound of gun fire 100 feet from my tent. Unless you carry do not go to this campsite.
I thought I’d stay here because it said it was free on the app: IT IS NOT FREE. It’s cheap though! $12/night and you can book on the recreation.gov app.
If you want to tent camp or sleep in your car, only book sites 1-5. The others don’t seem to have flat spots for much of anything. Perhaps…
On our trip across the country, we discovered Landry Vineyards through Harvest Hosts. But it does appear, according to Jeff & Libby Landry, this large winery and event venue allows others to camp their RV / Trailer overnight.
We arrived during a winter storm with heavy rainfall. Usually,…

Very simple overnight quick pull in, pull out. Close to the interstate. Clean bathrooms. Excellent space in the two bathroom/shower combos. Very clean floors and laundry area.
Spaces are large and well spaced for privacy. Beautiful lake views. The only negative is the rediculous fire pits. Obviously designed by someone who never experienced camping or a campfire. The pits are 2 feet tall, solid steel with NO air holes. Fires never burn and even if they did you…
This is a very beautiful Federal campground. Sites are scattered. Lots of shade, large trees. We were in site 16, which has water access and views. Level concrete pads. Electric and water. Dump station only. Many beautiful hiking and bike trails. Kayaking, swimming , boating and fishing. Showers…

Great campsite..kinda primitive but good for those that like the outdoor experience.
I camped on two occasions while in north LA on business. Bath houses are new, clean and climate controlled. Plenty of sites to choose from when I stayed though all of the waterfront sites were taken. Family friendly, not rowdy. I’d take young kids without hesitation if mine weren’t grown.
We camp here while hunting..love this camp site no worries or problems, all nice red blooded Americans loving Gods outdoor country
Great primitive camping right by the lake. A few good spots to park boats/boards on the bank steps away from the campsite. Restroom with no sink or showers. Running water on site. Boat ramp is large concrete. Free to camp. Great spot to pitch a tent and get away from it all
It’s a really nice place to camp. They do have restrooms but they need more attention put towards them. They have a big pavilion with a massive grill if your just interested in day use only. The fishing piers are well built and very nice. No showers and it’s primitive camping only...but I would…
Nice hilly trails, very nice lake views, TONS of deer, nice little beach area. Very similar to Lake Darbonne State Park just a little older and shabbier facilities, still very nice.

Very nice campground, great area for kids. Campsite was right on the lake and had a gorgeous sunset. Bathrooms werent the greatest but still good. The only really bad thing was that there was poison ivy all around our campsight.
Very pretty camping area. We stayed here at site 14. Had a long pier over the water, and plenty of space between campers. Not level ground, but we managed with enough blocks to get it level. This was a back in site. Water and electric, no sewer, but had a dump station. Absolutely no cell…
