Stayed in the primitive area. Clean and most of the spots are close to water if your wanting to fish. Beautiful scenery. Also close enough to civilization if you needed to make a supply run. RV side has showers and wifi and alot of other amenities. Will go back.

Me, my wife and lil dog stayed a weekend on the primitive area in a tent. When looking for a spot to put our tent, we found several peak areas that were very nice. We camped near the lake, watched fishermen and boaters during the day. We had a very nice time and would definitely go back!
We will be back! Love the friendly family party vibe this campground d has! Beautiful amenities. We were there outside of pool season but there were bands and activities every weekend! Can’t wait to return.
Gorgeous lake, so quiet and peaceful. Campsites are well marked, paved roads and sites. Lots of pull thrus with views of the lake. We were only going to stay a night but made it two instead, wished we could have stayed longer! Great trails and fishing. Would definitely come back!
Let’s start that COVID sucks, a lot is closed due to the CVD but it’s also a holiday week I will add as we celebrate the New Year. During the week it is quiet, and pretty empty. Pet friendly, decent space between spots, all 30/50A cable sewer water hookups.
This is one of the busiest RV campgrounds in South Louisiana. Be sure that you have reservations well in advance. There's a pool with a bar, game room, playground and lake. Small store on site, as well as laundry facilities. Downside is people love to party and be loud. Kids galore, so be careful…

This is one of the nicer ones. We have been 3 summers and have always enjoyed it. Movie theater, small game room, tiki bar, lots of activities and play areas for the kids, and the pools are nice. Fishing in the ponds is fun but don’t expect too much as they are very small. Weekends are very crowded…
This campground has just reopened Tuesday, after being closed due to "the virus ". Typically there's no problem getting a campsite during the week, but let me tell you, it's full here now! We are in site number 52. Water and electricity only. Bathrooms and showers are open , but not too clean. …

Great trail. Very well marked and maintained. Some wet areas but not bad. Awesome primitive camping sites along trail.
Concrete pads, good electricity but water pressure a bit low. I had better pressure using my onboard water and pump. Bar and grill are good and weekend music.
If you are looking for a place to park your camper and ride around on golf carts this is the place for. If you are looking for a place to camp and experience the great outdoors, not so much.
We went during the week, so it was quiet. So pretty. No sewer hookup, but has 2 dump stations. We were able to launch our kayaks from our RV site.

We were in spot 263, the spots were clean but very close together. Our 26' camper and Ford 150 truck fit in the spot without any extra space. We had a lot of fun, but there are a lot of rules that are strictly enforced. We didn't realize a section of the pool was 21 and over and an armed security…
Cajun Palms is an oasis for the family. They host a ton of activities for the family, fishing, swimming, go cart racing and even nightly entertainment for the adults. This is a must go to place!
