Welcome campers! Please read all of the below before booking, including the DIRECTIONS! Please do not show up without first making a reservation!

We have over 10 acres of stunning campground nestled only 15-20 minutes from the North entrance to the Sequoias! We have multiple sites to accommodate every type of camping from tent camping to tents-attached-to-cars and trucks, to pop-up campers to RVs. With exception of our 2 RV sites, site numbers are not used…which allows you to pick any open area on the 10 acres. We have many many sites for you to choose from! That being said if you have a large group message me and I can reserve a big spot for you.

There are wonderful views down into the valley, at night with sunsets off-the-hook, and city lights twinkling in the valley distance. Pick your spot and enjoy!

Be advised that if you do not have Verizon wireless, you will most likley lose service at some point!

DIRECTIONS: The 'Pinehurst Lodge' is on google, an easy reference point and is 1 minute away. Navigator apps push anyone coming from the south up the 245 highway. It is a very windy and slow climb up the hill. Totally doable, except large rigs. We recommend continuing north on the 99 to Fresno and then heading east on the 180. Its a faster and much smoother drive.

On this route that last gas station is a vallero called Clingins Junction. You can find it online. From this gas station, head east on the 180 for exactly 9.8 miles to the 245 highway, make a right, heading south. If you hit the park entrance, you went too far, turn around. Once on the 245, go 5 miles south.

When you arrive look for orange cones and solar lights easily visible from the road. There is 3 gates. The one that leads to the house. Directly to the right of that gate is the RV hook up sites gate. To the right of that is the lower campgrounds road.

Sequoia Mountain Farms

Choinumni Park is located on the Kings River near Trimmer Springs on Pine Flat Road 31 miles east of Fresno. The park is 170 acres with a campground, fishing access, playground and a hiking trail.Choinumni Park has two group picnic areas, picnic tables, BBQs, campsites, including one group camping area and 
restrooms. The park is named after the Choinumni Indian tribe and is pronounced Choy-num-nee.

A family friendly RV Park at the base of Sequoia National Park, just 25 miles from the entrance to Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon National Park, and minutes from Three Rivers and the Kaweah River. Nestled in the foothills of the western Sierra Nevada mountain range in California.

Lemon Cove Village RV Park is located in the small town of Lemon Cove, population 350. It is surrounded by beautiful scenery including mountains, rocks, oak trees, clean fresh air and is just 19 miles east of Visalia.

With Kaweah Lake and the Kaweah River only 4 miles away and the town of Three Rivers just 16 miles north, you will find that there is plenty of exciting exploring or relaxation around every corner.

Lemon Cove Village RV Park

## Overview

Island Park Recreation Area is the place to go for campers looking for lots of exciting water activities at Pine Flat Lake. The area has plenty of campsites plus two group sites and a day-use area for boaters.   
  
Pine Flat Lake spans 20 miles in length with 67 miles of shoreline. The lake, formed in 1954 with the completion of the Pine Flat Dam, is used for flood control and irrigation as well as a recreation oasis for the area. Wildlife spotting opportunities include bobcats and red-tailed hawks. 

## Recreation

Boating, jet skiing and fishing are some of the most popular activities at the lake. Anglers can find small and large-mouthed bass, spotted bass and rainbow trout.   
  
Families enjoy strolling on the Blue Oak Trail, a quarter-mile interpretive trail that's accessible from the campground. 

## Facilities

Most campsites are non-electric, but 25 sites have electric hookups, and five of those sites have water hookups. There is one site that meets accessibility standards and is available as first come, first served. Day-use visitors have access to a boat ramp and vault toilets. All campers have access to flush toilets.   
  
Group campground reservations include the use of a horseshoe pit and volleyball court. 

## Natural Features

Pine Flat Lake is situated where oak and pine meet in the foothills of the central Sierra Nevada Mountains. It's in Kings Canyon at the western edge of the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.   
  
At full capacity, the lake holds a million acre-feet of water, which is fed by the Kings Canyon watershed.

From the campground, head upstream on Kings River to find superb whitewater rafting in spring and early summer.
