Upper Pines Oasis

Great campground, nestled beneath the giant granite cliffs. For people with mobility issues, this site is a good walk away from the inner valley trails, fine for anyone else who is up for walking distances, because that is why you came to Yosemite!

FYI: No soap or hand drying items in bathrooms…

Camp here if it’s too late to summit Donahue SB

We camped here because it was too late in the day to summit Donahue Pass. Plenty of water! Plan well for water crossing. Impeccable views!!

Incredible views

It’s worth it to grab a fishing license up the road at Ernie’s. It was much windier than we anticipated, so definitely stale your tent down. We woke to a neighbors tent in the trees! Showers were closed because of covid, so check the site for those details. Make sure you grab a bite at the Whoa…

Deer Creek Camping

We stayed in site 15 and it was very nice. Large site with plenty of room for trailer and two big tents. Very short walk down to Huntington Lake and was ideal for swimming with the kids.

Not bad for primitive camping/boondocking

Nice quiet place to camp next to Yosemite. Pretty bare bones just a trash can and port a potties but it’s free :) note that somewhere to the east of the trash can there must be a wasp nest as I woke up to quite a few around my tent but they didn’t seem too aggressive

Beautiful and quiet

This is my new favorite place to camp. Each site is very large and sheltered with trees in between each site. The campground sits in an aspen grove which was neat. We plan to come back in the fall when the trees start to turn.

Family friendly beautiful campground

Amazing weather and scenery near 3 small lakes full of trout. We left our kayak on Trumbull lake unattended for a week. We felt very safe.

The restrooms are vault, and cleaned twice daily!

Caution, the "drinking" water was yellowish/brown. Probably sourced from the lake nearby. We used it to…

Natural swimming pools

Camped here a few times years ago. The creek is cold, but the rock formations create natural pools great for swimming. It a popular spot and fills up fast.

Clean hot springs

We have a 42’ rig so we decided to dry camp down in the valley and just drive up the dirt road every day to hot springs. Lots of choices toward top but probably under 28’. Cell service was very poor if it all at times. Hot springs are great but often crowded. Early morning - late evening- midday-…

Beautiful camping

Beautiful, large campsites. First come, first serve. Friendly campground hosts. Costs have gone up to $25 a night. The Vault toilets and bathrooms were clean and well maintained. We stayed in site number 5 and we had friends/family staying in campsites 4 & 6 and it was perfect and large area…

Fantastic

It was our first time camping in Yosemite and we absolutely loved this campsite. Mirror Lake, and Mist Trail were near by. Restrooms are extremely clean great views all around.

Breathtaking

Traveled from Las Vegas to this hidden gem. Great place for relaxation by the lake or taking a hike. Great place for dogs. Will be coming back since Yosemite national park is only an hour or so away.
