    Sans End RV Park

    Back at Yuma again.

    Ok.  It's Winterhaven but close enough.  The park's wi-fi is now much better this year. But they are lagging in some needed repairs.  East bathroom/shower/laundry has a broken pipe and is out of service. Only one working shower in the ladies BR. And lights hanging down by wires in the mens. The park is more than half empty as many Canadians choose to stay home and freeze or go to Mexico as it is "safer" than the USA.  Jokes on them.  We will see them next winter.  Pool and spa are a great amenity and two nice dog parks for our K9 companions.  Bathrooms are always clean and tidy.   Really need to do away with the $1 showers though.   Filtered drinking water onsite for a quarter a gallon. A Bargain.  Minimum age is 45 yrs old. So don't bring the kids or grandkids.  Bingo and karaoke each week.  And the office will receive your mail and Amazon packages.   Lisa and Jeniene in the office are always a pleasure to speak to.  Treat them nice as they assign your campsite.  Enjoyed our stay again this year and hope to see everyone again next year.

    North Beach Campground — Pismo State Beach

    Perfect off-season

    Booked a couple of nights here at the last minute and, while crowded, I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet and tidy this campground was.

    It is however the off-season and not a place I’d consider otherwise as I can only imagine how wild it must get when kids are off of school, as it is right on the beach.

    The sites are pretty leveled and the facilities offer all one needs, and it’s all very clean. Spigots for free water refill are also available throughout the campground.

    At $25/night, this is a wonderful and very safe campground for all.

    Kripple Kreek BLM Long Term Visitor Area

    Outstanding boondock camping!

    Not alot of people here, wide open camping with vegetation everywhere. Donkeys, snakes and turanchulas. Donkeys are here and gone, I've only seen one turanchula and no snakes yet. I've been here for 5 months so far and just love it. You can pack up and move to several blm sites right here.

    Wow! One night stay only

    Holy smokes do they know how to take care of you. Pull up to office/store, friendly/knowledgeable staff. Even prompted getting my AAA discount. They guided me to my spot, helped me back in, gave me tour of the site and dropped off my firewood! First class service. Full hook ups, sites close together but lots of area/trails to explore. Would stop here again!

    Stayed a few times

    Great spot to camp and explore the Santa Rosa area. No hook ups but there is a spot to fill fresh water tank and a dump station. Sites are well spaced and very clean. Will get weekend locals so you will likely hear people having fun :) My go to in the area.

    San Clemente State Beach Campground

    Over night

    Nice camp ground, bathrooms with a shower available also has warm water, not free though so make sure you have quarters, fire rings, and on site wood is a plus, easy access to the beach, pier and liquor store only a mile away we just walked the beach and took the trail back from the store was bad of a walk, only set back is when u are trying to sleep u can hear traffic and the Amtrak other then that awesome camp site

    Well maintained campground, nice hikes, 1/2 way surrounded by freeway. Seemed to me several campers were working locally and used it for their residence..
