A little….disappointing

The campground and hosts were….awesome! The hosts were attentive and drove around in their golf cart regularly and diligently and were informative and friendly. The camp was good too. All was fairly quiet and the spots are far enough apart. However, the lake was dismal. It smelled like sewage and…

Large concrete lot. Shade hard to come by. Has cell service, WiFi (slow), nice showers, bathrooms and laundry. Best for very large rigs with limited options

Bugs. Beautiful. Serene. But bugs.

Free! I do love free. I had spent the day in the sun and had no intentions of driving four hours away. I did Subway Cave 👍🏻, Burney Falls👍🏻, and took a much needed nap by Hat Creek.

I pulled into another campground but there were kids running everywhere and the second I got out the mosquitoes…

Great spot away from everything

I stayed here numerous times as a young kid and teen with my family. We lived in Susanville and would go here to get out of the town and feel closer to nature and experience it all. The sites are walk in so be ready to pack what you need with you. The wildlife possibilities seem endless and it's a…

Beautiful Spot

My wife and I stayed here before moving on to Lassen Volcanic NP. We stayed here on a Monday night (it was our honeymoon) so we were the only ones here. There was a really cool, fast flowing creek running through the campsite. Just a gorgeous spot in the forest with toilets if you need them.

Great for passing through

Stopped here on our way to and from Oregon. Easy pull through sites, full hookups. Friendly staff and they make it easy if you come late and leave early as we did.

Not Maintained in the Winter

We did not stay the night here, as there was too much snow on Bridge Creek Springs Road in April for our RV to be able to get through. We spent the night in a clearing nearby though, and walked over to the campground to check it out.

The camp sites are nicely spread out, and each comes with a…

Mosquito Mahem in Summer

There’s a beautiful view here, and a lot of peace and solitude- as long as you’re willing to share the space with mosquitos! The water is shallow and warm, so not great for fishing in the late summer. Lots of algae, so swimming can be eh, too. Paddle board paradise, though.

  • Lots of Lilly pads, not sure about the bass situation here. Might bring a pooper next time through.

Great Stop Over

Very clean, full hook ups, can accommodate big rigs. Weekly, monthly, overnight. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star rating is that there is nothing around to do. General store across the street with gas and diesel, some food and drink.

Mountain Lake Beauty

So beautiful! The lake is nestled in the mountains. The scenery, fishing and water sports are superb! There are ample campgrounds with spots from tent camping to RV camping. They also have group camping right on the water! If you love mountain lakes, don’t miss this one... and book early!

Juniper Lake (non group)

The smaller sites at Juniper Lake are first come first serve, unlike the group sites that can be reserved.  Over the last few years the popularity of Juniper Lake has grown and it is difficult to find a spot on weekends, but early to mid week there's a pretty good chance you can find a spot. If…

Beautiful campground .

This is a great spot for camping. There are very nice and large spots for both Camper and Tent camping. The bathrooms and showers are clean and exactly what you would expect from a county park. There are lots of tall trees for shade during the day, and the trees separated the spots enough that…

Fun lake all summer long

This campground is a super fun place to spend a weekend with friends. Several group sites available. Mind you this lake isn’t far from Reno, NV and surrounding valleys so it can get quite rowdy at night during peak season. Would not recommend for families looking for a quiet, serene getaway. Boat…

Deer park

Beautiful Taylorsville is always a good place to set up my tent. Many spots, some with hook ups! Lots of trees and good burgers at the local market!
