Overnight Stay

We stayed one night. Really enjoyed the area. The river close by and all the beautiful trees, flowers and plants. Will definitely stay again.

Great place for a stop

Pros: huge sites with grass and trees. Big enough for the largest RV’s.

Cons: no river access and a naked guy sitting on a bluff.

Great Stop of I-5

Stayed here for a second time driving from Southern California to Oregon. The sites are spacious and there is a pool to cool down during the hot summers. There is wine tasting as well. Management kept in communication with us through text (my preferred method). Easy access to I-5, very close to a…

True Dispersed Camping

My wife and I were going to camp here but she was a little spooked by the amount of bears we saw on the trail to the campsite. This area was also decimated by wild fire recently and a large percentage of the forest is charred. We ended up passing this site up, but it looks like it is a cool spot.…

Good quiet dry campsite

There are only two camp sites reasonably far apart. Nice clean outhouse and potable hand pump water. Picnic tables and trash bins provided as well as a fire pit. The only negative was the Carr fire that burned many trees in the area.

$5, Beautiful if people were responsible

People leave their trash everywhere. People let their dogs run lose, and were loud. I doubt most of these people even paid. Anyways beautiful place if people respected it. Drive was nice, most people do not have cell service. A lady flipped her quad and was life flighted out so.... my quiet weekend…

Perched on the edge of Stony Creek

If you drive past all the OHV-filled camps, you’ll eventually get to this little gem. No water or trash (though you have both at the sites back down the road), but the location is so perfect - you can hear the creek rushing, and the big groups are too far away to be bothersome. There’s limited…

great spot

we were traveling from the Fresno area to the Redding area.  We stopped here well after they had closed.  The late night check in was easy.  The map they provided to pick out a spot was easy to read, the instruction were clear and concise.  We were able to find a nice spot and set up for the…

Just a short drive from the main road into the Mendocino National Forest. You don’t need four-wheel-drive to get here. Clean camping that’s paved as well there nice stream next to the campground full of turtles, crawfish and ducks. Be aware that this campground is mainly used by dirtbike riders but…

Nice stopover park on the way to Santa Cruz

They have a pool.  Pull through spots.   Have residence park owners.   They were courteous and left lights on while I set up my motorhome for the night.  It is by the freeway and there is noise but not too bad.  Good transit park to rest the night. Would stay there again.
