Pre-Covid, I would go to la jolla every memorial day weekend. Its very family friendly. I highly recommend this location to camp.
We had a wonderful long weekend at the La Jolla Indian campground in March. It snowed on Palomar mt and so we were able to go up enjoy the snow and then come back down the mountains in around 30 min. We loved the sites some are smaller than others and the ones right on the water are not always the…
Nice sites with connections surrounding pretty lake.
Clean and pleasant campground in Joshua Tree National Park with great giant rock landscape. Also a short walk to famous Arch Rock!

Please, please, PLEASE spare yourself. This campground is total trash, literally. There was trash all long the river, the algae was disgusting that I couldn’t even let it splash on me let alone let my 9year old tube down the river. Zip lines? What zip lines? That place look deserted not even…
Dirt roads were well kept. I came with a 170 wheel base Sprinter Van w/ 2 wheel drive and had no problems making it to site post #11. I arrived on a Wednesday and had a quiet stay. I saw 2 other RV’s in other sites on the way in. My site had a picnic table and a fire pit. I had spotty internet on…

Really has helped me especially when hotels cost too much lol
By quiet I mean not a lot of human noise, but the birds! So many talkative and beautiful birds to enjoy. We stayed here during the second weekend of July and while it was pretty hot, it was only about 1/3 of the way full and still very quiet. The only issue we had was the BUGS. Definitely prepare…
We visited this campsite with 4 other families. We thoroughly enjoyed the stream the trails the pool and all the good times.
Amazing views. Great stargazing. Nice clean bathrooms and drinking water. Gets windy so secure your belongings.
There are only 3 secluded camping spots on each side of Apple Canyon rd. Dirt roads with certain spots with big dips. I should have took the rd where it says campsite #1 because it also leads to #2 and of is much smoother.
No hook ups or water but a fire pit, bench and porta potty near site…
Pretty warm during the time we went (7/1-7/4), but had the opportunity to relax by the river (BONUS). Amazing view of the stars, very little light pollution! Only down side, quite a few ants. Would visit again!
We had such a great time at Lake Hemet Campground! The staff are so helpful and friendly and really wanted to make sure we had the best time. The views are just amazing and the lake is beautiful!
This was a great quick get away for my family and I. The kids all love fishing at the pond on site. Plenty of space between campgrounds. No issues with hook-ups or amenities. Pool was still closed due to COVID restrictions but looked clean. Paid about $95 for a 2 night stay.
Was a little…
My family stayed at lake Hemet camping 7/3 -7/5
We thought that we would be able to have a great holiday weekend but our camp spots were in the middle of All of the people that lives on the property and that is 90% of the camping spots. We were unable to enjoy our holiday because All of the…
