    Hidden Knoll Farm Glamping

    The view makes your heart skip a beat

    We had a deeply restful night at the Hidden Knoll and I wish we could’ve stayed longer.

    I slept so soundly to the sound of crickets. The view is absolutely breathtaking from this spot. It looks all the way across the valley towards the entire Mayacamas mountain range with steam coming up from the Geysers directly facing our dome. We had a picnic table and a campfire ring made of stone. There were deer grazing below us in the oak forest. We were close to a small splash pool for floating on in pool rings and pool noodles that the host provided and there is also a galvanized soaking tub for two with an amazing view and we enjoyed it underneath the stars and got to fill it ourselves with hot water from an on demand hot water heater next to it.

    They also have a camp kitchen under a shade pergola next to their house that is fully equipped with a dishwashing sink, refrigerator, and everything you need to make coffee or breakfast (we bought eggs from the chicken ms.) The host Bertrand even made us a fresh cappuccino.

    Usal Beach Campground

    Super cool stay

    Directions from google maps led us straight to the sight. Got there at 8:30pm with little time/daylight to spare after setting up camp. Road was not in bad condition if you have off road setting/lift/good tires. Quite a few other groups there. Saw a pod of orcas in the morning. Does get cold and damp due to the location/fog/ocean. Super cool stay

    We love camping at Redinger. It is free and not far from where I work so we can camp for longer periods of time. The weekends get quite a few RVs the weekdays are pretty empty.

    I don’t know what it is with the state of California and charging people a lot of money and not allowing showers. I tried to take a shower and it wants quarters and the office is closed so I can’t get quarters. Who walks around with bags of quarters anymore? I don’t think people have a right to charge this much money for such an inconvenience.

    Arrived on a Tuesday night and was the only one staying. Vault toilet was open. Consistent coverage with at&t. Not terribly strong though. Plenty of space for others. Trash bin available.
