Nice view and perfect for fishing

We were able to set our poles and walk back to our campsite. Great place to let the kids run around.

Good spot to explore Pinnicales National Park

Good spot to explore Pinnicales National Park. Typical TT resort park off the beaten path, far out but nice place, we enjoyed our stay. At the time we were there a lot of the riverfront sports were out of order. Park does have a lot of those devil spikes in the grass so beware of those with the dogs or bare feet. I did see someone bare foot walking and I was confused as how he was not stepping on them little spiked mines/ thorns then it happened and he went down having to crawl back to the road and get shoes. Pinnacles NP has lots of great hikes, bird watching is a thing out here and home to the California Condors. Near the town of Gilroy home of the garlic festival. A little out of the way but a nice scenic backroad alternate from I5 or 99 if traveling north/south.

Fun place for the kids!

Staff was very friendly. Lots of land to explore!

Nice Older RV Park

Nice Older Park, Large, lots of things going on in the area between the Restaurant, Fruit Stand, Gas Station and the RV Park. But it definitely wasn't an issue getting around. Stayed there for the first weekend while in the area for work. The do supposedly have the 10 year rule in place.

10/10

Been coming here for our annual family camping trip for years now and love this place. The staff is always friendly and willing help. Will be coming back in the future.

Quick Camping

Woodward is our family go to place to camp in the summer heat. Lots of campsites with room for tents or RVs. Fire pits and picnic tables at each site. Plenty of bathrooms, some with showers. Usually somewhat clean. Water feels good when it's 100+ degrees outside. Good prices. And you can bring your dogs.

A slice of heaven in the bay area

We visited the first week of December 2020.  The staff was helpful and the grounds were well maintained.  Flat easy pull through with full hook-ups.  Definitely in a canyon around the corner from Thousand Trails.  You can see the stars at night and it is a very quiet campground.  We were surprised at all the high-end rigs there, some full-timers.  A nice dog park area and a stroll along the creek - our dog loved it.  They recycle and are very environmentally aware. No pool or playground but lovely nature away from the hustle and bustle of silicon valley.  It is about 6 miles to shopping and many restaurants.  A very easy drive off the highway if you take the Tennant Road exit.

Good Basic Campground...

Having great on/off access along US 101, Betabel is one of those camps that is centrally located. To the north, you have Morgan Hill, Gilroy and San Jose; to the west, Santa Cruz and Watsonville and to the south is Marina, Monterey and Salinas.

The park has some shaded and some open sites. It is not a resort property but does offer some walking trails. The camp store is a good backup supply source, though I have not been in it due to the pandemic. All the facilities seem to be well kept including the bathroom/shower and laundry facilities.

Discounts for AAA, Good Sam and AARP.

Definitely recommended!

Very cold on the winter...

Big campground because the coronavirus the facility has closed. I just use campground and showers is free hot water showers. Seems like fun on the summer I went on the winter and the place is very cold. One time visit. Staff is very cool.

AWESOME SPOT WITH GREAT GRASS & SHADE AND WATER ACCESS

Good for camping on the delta with green grass and close to the boat spots
