Nothing like shown in the pictures

Nothing at all like what is shown in the photos. There is rusty construction debris/ burnt wood at the entrance. There is no reception at the site. The host was not responsive. Forfeited my fee with no regrets to go somewhere else.

Camping with llamas

This is a private campsite where you can feed and camp with llamas. There are about 40 llamas to enjoy. The owners are friendly and helpful. There are a couple outhouses, picnic tables, fire pits and grills. There are no electric or water hookups. There is limited camping spots but you are spread out from others which is nice. We were the only ones there when we camped. You book this location through their Facebook page llamaland Ranch. The price was $35 a night plus service fees of around $7.75. Firewood is available for a fee also.

Family Camping Dream Come True!

Camping amongst the llamas was a dream come true! It was everything we hoped for- and more! You can tell Judy does this for the love of llamas. We got a tour of the pasture, and met all of the llamas by name. We got to feed the llamas, and they hung around our camp for almost our entire visit. We. Had. A. Blast.

Multiple fire pits and picnic tables per site. Big, shady trees to escape the beating Texas sun. And we felt safe enough to let our boys camp in their own tent for the first time. Not too far from the city, but definitely feels like you're in the middle of nowhere. Tent sites aren't secluded, but they aren't close-by either, and our neighbors were never bother. 10/10 we will definitely be back.

Unique experience

The owners were very kind and responsive to our needs. They kindly welcomed us and were eager to let my kids feed the llamas! They even left bread for us at the campsite to line the fence with for the llamas, which my 3 year old son loved. They brought us donuts the next morning which was unexpected. The campsite was very nice with fire pit, kiddie picnic table, adult picnic table, chairs and little shaded pavilion. Bathroom was nice! Beautiful countryside views with shade trees. Would highly recommend! A fun little getaway in the outdoors!
