Good power and water, quiet, well maintained and under the watchful eye of the Manager. Safe.
Great find driving through NM. $10 self pay state park and plenty of spots for drive up on a Friday. Beautiful views from nearly every campsite, sites spread apart with tables and awnings over each table. A clean lake, clean pristine bathrooms and millions of stars that will take your breath away.…
Bummed when we pulled up and were told we couldn’t tent camp. Found a better place up the road near the lake.
Quick get away! Stream fishing, camp fires, and hiking trails!
April 16, Brrr.. at night, below freezing but just a couple days before 45 to 50 at night. It's one of those places that defines, "you can't get there from here" Adequate sites with 30amp service, nice Casita style covers over Pickwick tables. Great ranger interaction. we drove up with our…
A nice place to disperse camp vault toilets, the campground is at approximately 8000 ft. I observed elk crossing my campsite. A very nice place to camp in the summer to escape the heat. Near the town of Corona.
5 stars for clean sites, water and electric available. Classic NM terrain and vista. Camp host on site helpful and active keeping the place tidy. Easy pull in and back in sites with covered clean concrete tables. Outside loop more private than inside, but all look good. Would definitely stay…
Gem of a USFS campground in the Cibola National Forest near Corona, NM. Can get crowded on weekends and most especially during Fall hunting season.
Note that directions from Maps/Dyrt tries to send you the wrong way off County Rd 22, so follow the brown signs to the campground and you can’t miss…
Still early season so pretty quiet. Two loops were open but plenty of spaces open. Easy reservation kiosk for CC only.
Beautiful sites. The campground is up on the high part of Bandelier. Nice hike from up at the campground out to view down into the valley plus lots of other hiking from up there.
The other review is spot on, nice small campground with pit toilets and no amenities. If you are looking to get away, this is the place! Yes, there is some livestock. It is a beautiful campground.
No space between rvs, bathrooms closed, probably because the fat bastard working there is too lazy to maintain them. Super rude to us when we decided not to stay bc the place was a dump.
They lock the site up after closing time...only a spike strip exit is open for campers. Wish we would have known before the long, narrow and curvy road 12 miles up the mountain. Fun drive but not when you just need a last minute place to crash for the night.
Easy to find, clean bathroom with showers. Fairly level spot. Slept well.
The park was just fine, nothing fancy and by no means a destination. If you are passing through though it works just fine.
