With 20 sites accessible by standard vehicle, Upper End Campground provides water hookups and accommodates RVs up to 32 feet. The Forest Service facility sits adjacent to Lake Roberts with a connecting trail leading directly to the water. Sites include fire pits, picnic tables, and some tent pads, with multiple water spigots distributed along the camp road.
Mule deer regularly graze around the sites, and campers report sightings of turkeys and javelinas. The campground operates year-round at $10 per night with restrooms and garbage collection provided. Cell service is unavailable at this location. Mesa Campground offers an alternative just half a mile northwest for campers preferring different site configurations.
