Train track camping

Firstly they do not allow any type of conversions. Secondly it literally sits next to an active train station the commuter rail for Albuquerque crossing is literally the front of the campground ! weekdays about 5:00 a.m. they start running through their blowing their horns so if you want to sit feet away from a active train track, blowing those are horn every time theyrumble by, you this is definitely the place for you. and their convenience store is anything but that, all they have in is a few odds and ends and some fishing gear cheap gear at that. bring your food you won't be able to find any here. While the grounds are nice, it is inconceivable why they chose a place sitting right there next to the train track ! Trains rumbling by blowing the horns it's not my idea of an RV getaway!

Great with one exception

Great RV park! The lakes are beautiful. Paved and dirt lots available. Free shuttle to the casino and rail station. Restaurants in the casino. Convenient store on the premises. One downside is the rail road tracks are very close by, and the trains sound their horns very late at night and early in the morning. Also it is hard to get monthly.

Overnight Stay

Campground doesn’t take reservations so arrive early. Parking spots are gravel, level and nicely spaced. The closer the lake you are the farther away from the restrooms and showers. We aren’t used to sleeping next to train tracks so it was a bit of distraction. There is a commuter stop right next to the camp ground so the whistle blew quite a bit. The showers were nice and restrooms were clean. There were no benches or chairs outside the shower so I had to set my stuff on the floor. We didn’t check out the casino but they do have a shuttle that will take you back and forth. Also, nice golf course!

Kind and helpful

Staying at Isleta Lakes has convenient access to the city of Albuquerque while staying a bit more secluded. The lakes provide a nice walking trail and the staff are helpful. Heads up, the office to check in closes at 8 pm in the peak season and 5 or 6 pm in the off season.

New Section of the RV Park is Awesome!

We stayed here 6/27-7/06/21.  This is a first come, first serve RV Park. We splurged and stayed on the concrete pad side. Our site #63 was across from the lake that is stocked with catfish.  Locals are allowed in to fish during the day up until 7 pm.  Fishing License can be purchased in campground store.  Plenty of space from neighbors on our corner lot.  Loved the patio area we had as well.  Shuttle Service to Casino across the road. Short drive into Albuquerque. Check out Green Jeans Farmery for a unique eating/drinking experience. AT&T and T-Mobile Cell Service was great. Also, the Paseo del Bosque Trail offers great biking. Cons:  Laundry room was not open during our stay.  No Shade.  We would stay here again!

Beautiful park! Great staff!

Beautiful RV park! Bathrooms were very nice and CLEAN! There’s security at the entrance which is nice, and a small store for beer and fishing stuff. Everyone that works there is friendly and helpful.

Simple but nice

The landscape around is pretty sparse. Our site was clean, easy and spacious. We were right up by the lake which seemed man made but was still peaceful. Great place for an overnight stay. First come first served

Casino owned RV park

Isleta Lakes & RV park is a clean and beautiful park. With it's own lake and views of the Sandia Mountains it's worth the stay. The casino provides a shuttle service to and from your RV site to the casino. There are plenty of places to eat, grab a show or even get a massage at the Spa which we did. They also have a large bowling alley and gameroom if desired. Only draw back is it's near a train stop and you definitely will hear the trains horn.

1st time Rving

This was are 1st time trying out our 5th wheel. We live in Albuquerque and wanted to try something close to home. This was a nice park located next to a lake that can be fished with a license. RV park is part of Isleta Casino and free shuttle service is offered from your Rv to the Casino. We would definitely stay again, only draw back is it's close to the railroad station and the train blows its horn. Paid about $35 nightly for full hookups.
