This was a comfortable campground for RVs and tents. Our 5th-wheel is 28 feet long and fit nicely in the space. Some bigger ones may have trouble fitting into the spaces. All campsites have fire pits and picnic tables and are somewhat private. Many are on a two-tier level and actually have steps…
We stayed one night on our way through the area. It was convenient. The campsites are plentiful and not as close to eachother as others. Bathrooms spotless. After hours check-in was a breeze! Will use again.
We decided to not stay here, because we are tent camping this trip. If you have an RV or Trailer, this would be a good stop if you are in Great Falls.
First camp we stayed at on a week long trip to Montana. We came on a weekday, so hardly any one there.
I went just overnight to go watch the metor shower. I camped in a tent. Deer wandered into the campground throughout the night and morning. You can hear logging creek moving from no matter where you are. The road was a lil rough with the washed out gullies in the road with the cattle guards. But I…
Well laid out campsites with plenty of space. Well maintained picnic tables and fire rings with designated tent space. Bathrooms are clean, and campsites are clearly marked with seclusion from other guests.

This place has amazing view with some awesome walking trails. There is also a salmon feeding station which can be fun to see. In. The winter this place provides some really nice sledding experiences. One of the coolest things here is the WORLD’S SMALLEST RIVER! Called the Roe River at 201 feet
This is a great place if you want to get away from Great Falls for a night or two. Each campsite has a fire pit, picnic table and a decent amount of trees. Great little pool on the far side of the campsite is great for kids.
This campground is in the mountains. No phone service so you can really get away from everyday life. It is in the lewis and clark national forest so help isn't too far away. There should also be onsite caretakers. You will find running water and outhouses. The creek is nearby as well as great…
This is a wonderful State Park to spend an afternoon at, but you will not be able to camp here as this is not a campground. Visit the shortest river in the world, check out the fish hatchery, enjoy a nice picnic. Trails along the river make for a nice hike/walk. You can also set up a tour for the…
Grat place for recreation and seeing ththe fish hatchery. Dont expect to camp here but hiking is great and the playground was redone o ly a few years ago.
This is a wooded camp ground near the creek with pit toilets.
The campground itself is nice but the 4th of July crowd was mostly there for motorized recreation. This, combined with peoples general disregard for how loud they are, was annoying. Logging creek flows behind the campground and a few of the middle numbered sites are creekside. There is also plenty…
We only camped at the campground a few time no e place but we usually go further up and find a primitive spot
Excellent spot for professional photography and portraits! Restrooms and fountains, tables available. Great view of the river and pathways as well as hiking trail to take along the river, very scenic and awesome place to take the family and kids to check out the HUGE trout!!
