Amazing views on a bench above Slough Creek Valley

Backcountry camping site 2S6 is the last campsite along Slough Creek Trail.  Located 9 miles from the trail head just after you cross in to Montana, you will almost have this section of the park to  your self, the exception being the wagons heading to a lodge just out side the park.  This campsite sits on a flat bench above the valley with some lodgepole pines for shade.  You will have amazing views of the Slough Creek Valley from your campsite out of view from those traveling along the trail.  Site has a good water source from a very small creek, will need go a short distance back down to the main trail for the best spot to filter the water.  While the campsite has a location to hang your food, you will not need to as the site has a bear proof locker for food storage.
