Great place

Great place. Well-kept, clean and tidy. The staff helps with everything needed. There is space for walking around and grass for children's games and just sitting in front of the view of the forest. Although a bit expensive, these are the prices around Glacier.

Simple but Friendly Spot

Sites are simple but well maintained and clean. Enjoyed our stay here and the relative (it’s still a decent drive) proximity to Glacier.

Wooded sites and friendly staff

The sites were all surrounded by trees. We had site 16, which is the area where they put most of the big rids. But many of the other sites had their own little secluded area. Full hookups. The staff is friendly and helpful. The little store has the main necessities plus some gifts, etc. They had live music on a Thursday night in a grassy field near the office. Super close to GNP.

Great Glacier Getaway

This park has super friendly and helpful staff. The park and it’s facilities are clean. The pull through site we had was nicely located in the trees, but isn’t the simplest pull through I’ve seen. There is a nice designated pet area with a small fenced in area.

Best outside Glacier NP

We’ve stayed here twice now while visiting Glacier NP. Once in august and again 2 years later in sept. Really well kept campground. Sites are shaded and fairly private. Bathroom/showers are some of the best I’ve ever seen. Very nice. WiFi is poor due to area/tree cover but WiFi works near the main building. Has laundry facilities. Fishing pond. Kayak rentals and a camp store. We love this campground!

Friendly hosts

As I stated friendly accommodating hosts. Beautiful forest setting but road noise, as do a lot of campgrounds. Would stay again.

Well kept, great sites

This campground is gorgeous and all of the sites and grounds are well maintained. We lucked out with site #50 though, it was very secluded and the picnic firepit area was like our own little cubby in the woods. There is also a general store in the office with a small gift shop, fire wood and kayak rentals. There are two grocery stores in town, the smaller has excellent fried chicken and all of your basic groceries.

Friendly, helpful staff and only 10 miles from West Glacier

We are full-timers in a 36 ft Class A with a Cherokee Trailhawk tow and stayed in site 14 for 3 days in mid August. Our site was not very level front to back and side to side, and though we got close, we couldn’t get fully level. The sites across the back(11-16) seem roomier and more offset than the rest. The campground is well maintained, quiet and heavily wooded, although there is a fair bit of road noise from US-2. At least on sites 11-16, pull-throughs, the hookups are fairly close to the front of the site. Some of the interior roads go in odd directions and can get a bit confusing at times. They also had live music on the lawn the night we arrived, a Wednesday. AT&T coverage good, with 2-3 bars of LTE and speeds up to 7 MB/s, but throughput did fluctuate a bit. The CG has WiFi, but we could never get more than about 20 KB/s, which is effectively useless. We were able to get DISH coverage on all three western satellites at our site. There were no OTA channels to be had with our fixed omni antenna.

Lovely hidden campground on the hill

We stayed here while Visiting glacier NP. The sites are very close together but still very nice. It’s tough turns for bigger rigs though. We had a pull through spot.

The office and facilities are clean and well kept. We stayed in 2019.

Bathrooms are locked and private. Nice showers. WiFi worked well. The fishing and pond area was clean and well kept. Super close to the park entrance.

On the Road Again

Clean, open, easy.  Maybe a little too much of a uniform look throughout, and not much of a tenters paradise, but hey.  Service-wise, get what you came for... this is solid.  A gateway to Hungry Horse Reservoir, Glacier National Park and Canada... which makes you grateful as a stopover place, but slightly heartbreaking to be so close and yet... : )

Very Nice RV Camp

This was the first long trip we took with our 5th wheel RV. The campsite was very easy to get set up in and was close to the park office so we had fairly good WiFi. We were there to visit Glacier National Park but unfortunately it was very bad timing due to forest fires and much of the park was closed. We were there near end of August 2018.
