Campground

Great campground!! The hard working camp host has been there for 4 years. Clean!! Don’t stay in the lower sites...too much ATV’s and dust. The campground size is scheduled to double in size soon. Great place.

Very quiet spot

This campground is one of several that are for free along this reservoir. This one definitely was the least packed during the week. There are 5 spots & they each have picnic tables & metal fire rings. There are two vault toilets which were stocked & clean. There is also a picnic shelter…

Quiet stay!

This campground is one of several that are for free along this reservoir. This one seemed to be the least packed because it only has three official sites. There are a couple other spots in the field where rock firerings have been made but the official spots have picnic tables & metal fire…

Solid campground, just a little cramped!

Campground is in a great location close to Yellowstone entrance. It’s a big campground and as expected it can be a little cramped. I recommend getting a site away from the main road and traffic noise. It has a large indoor pool that the kids loved, also has a coffee shop, breakfast grill, a dog…

A great campground tucked away from the crowds!!

Was able to get a last-minute reservation here when the other more popular campgrounds were full. It’s 22 miles from the entrance of Yellowstone but it’s not a bad drive. Friendly staff with clean and quiet campgrounds! It has a huge playground area for the kids. Sorry no pool but Henery’s lake…

Cramped

Not exactly what I have in mind when camping but this is a KOA camp. Very cramped. A little expensive. But they have everything you need and an indoor pool. We needed a place to stay ASAP and it ended up being cooler then we thought.

Wonderful place and wonderful staff

This campground is e well kept and clean, the staff is friendly and fun to be around. We loved the park and the creeks behind the campground. The store was well stocked and has a fantastic gift shop. We could have gotten all our Yellowstone souvenirs right at camp. We had a wonderful week here;…

Clean and cramped

We had a pull thru site with patio. Our fire ring was right next to our neighbors sewage drain, and the way our site slopped we couldn’t put chairs around it.

Almost all of the sites have shade. The laundry facility was clean and the Yellowstone Park entrance is nearby.

They do not enforce the…

Gorgeous and private

All the sites are fairly private, nestled in the mountains among the trees and alongside a stream. We visited mid May 2021, it snowed overnight so it was a bit freezing, but otherwise such a beautiful stay.

Not a KOA

Got there at 5:30pm and the office was already closed. We setup and then found out the water wasn't on because of the cold temperature. They did have a few frost free spigots around but we didn't want to move. The bathrooms and showers were old and not as clean as they could of been. Wifi was…

An all time favorite!

I come to this campground every single year and have for the past 9 years in a row (14 trips total).  This campground has all the amenities you may need or want!  Tent camping, cabin, RV, etc.  And I have done them all there.  There is a laundry room, showers, outdoor activities like biking, ice…
