Busy

Newman creek is prettier than it looks in the pictures with good shade but it is very busy. The camp site 14 was right next to the boat launch and “beach” which is used as a day access site. Be prepared to be making friends!

Outstanding

This is a beautifully maintained, brand new KOA. The young man who owns it is making many improvements. The showers are extremely nice. There’s a little camp store with a coin laundry. The owner is very knowledgeable about the area including glacier national Park. I would highly recommend this…

Nice convenient camp grounds

My 1st time here. Read the reviews and its pretty much what everyone says. FYI there are no showers or drinking water. The Boulder river is right on the edge so you can get water there or from a stream at the western end of the park. I was able to get 5g service here... Depends on where in the…

Nice quite place.

Clean and relaxing. Table and fire ring at each site. Nice creek and very little traffic noise.

Good place for kids

Met a group of friends here for two nights in early June. Nice, but small campground with about 10 or so sites. Some are not well situated for parking a camper, but it didn’t seem to crowded and we had our choice of spots early evening on a Friday. Nice creek through campground with small pools and…

Nice lake, rough road

Great campground for summer. The lake is beautiful and cool. Large boat access area. There is a nice trail through the area, day use and overnight spaces. A little camp store with the basics. Not a lot of shade so make sure to bring sunscreen. Keep an eye out for snakes on the trail. The road is…

Pretty but overgrown

Beautiful little campground with a creek running through. About 10 sites. The campground is large enough for small trailers. Some sites are not terribly level and they were all quite overgrown with flowers and weeds. One vault toilet. Definitely bear country and be very cautious about ticks. Make…

Small but works!

Stayed for a night and it was pleasant. 3/4 of the spots were taken yet it was still quiet. There’s 3 vault toilets. There’s a day area then an overnight area. All spots are in a loop so you just park next to the spot you want. No trash, water or electric. It’s free and has a picnic table and fire…

Focus on Fishing

If you have a boat and the correct equipment this area would make a very nice camping area for a trout fisherman. A boat launch area approximately a quarter mile downstream from a dam makes for easy boat launch at this sight. And, the amenities for camping are more than satisfactory.

Three forks KOA

Not sure if this is the same campgrounds as listed Nice place, good shade clean. New KOA owner here very friendly and all around awesome. Though spot close quarters tight turns. I think rigs or trailer bigger then 24ft will have a hard time maneuvering in here, but they do have good spots too. Ours…

No docks; too windy

Very exposed to wind gusts due to lack of trees. First evening was uncomfortable due to constant wind. Boat launch did not have docks set up on memorial day weekend. Made boat use very difficult. Otherwise it was a nice stay.

Not great for tent camping

Disclaimer, I went Memorial Day weekend. But it was RV hell. And I don't know about that "one unit per site" nonsense - almost every site near me had one or two RVs/campers plus a tent, or some combo like that. So many people, so loud, yelling and laughing and running generators. I'm glad they had…

Missouri headwaters

Pretty nice place. Campsites barely fit a tent but some sites for campers. Lots of hiking trails and super clean bathrooms. $24 for out of staters for the night
