Clean Quiet Safe Friendly

Pulled in late evening twilight. Nestled in a hill pocket. Unassuming looks but what matters is the vibe and amenities for the price. New owners. Sites are tidy. Full and partial hookups. Sewer dump. Shining star is the bathroom and shower house. Clean. Updated and hot hot water if you like a nice…

Close to town

Best of both worlds. Close to town but also get the camping experience. Great fishing and plenty of room for everyone. Great hosts

Beautiful Location and great campsites!

This campground has 3 separate loops. The loop we stayed at did not allow generators. This was campground is walking distance to the Ranger Station, Camp Store and best of all the lake. The sites are very roomy and included fire pits and picnic tables. The rangers do patrol the campground often to…

Amazing location and an awesome campground.

We camped here over Labor day weekend 2019. The campground was on Blackfeet tribal land and the hosts were accommodating and friendly. We had site 15 and were surprised that we had no close neighbors and ample room for three large tents, a canopy, and our SUV. Quiet, serene, and other words come…

Great introduction to Glacier National Park

There are fewer tourists in this part of the park, so you can really enjoy your time in the wilderness. We spent the first part of the day visiting waterfalls and hiking a couple of trails, we didn't run into too many people. Numerous day hiking options and a great way to start enjoying…

Knowledgeable owner saved my Bacon

The owners are wonderful people. He is a wealth of knowledge and willing to share.

Listen to him. He saved us from taking things to Canada that we shouldn't take but

were going to. The border patrol WILL search your motor home. They know all the

hiding places. We got searched for over an hour.…

Decent campground, we only go here to fish. Plenty of spots, very reasonable priced. No hookups, right on the Maria’s river. We have never seen the camp host.

Pretty but crowded

Lare campground with little privacy. Sites are close together and can be noisy at times. The views are beautiful and hiking can be done from the campground. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Activities within the campground were nice especially if you have kids.

Dirty and Pricey.

$25 for a tent site. Tents are thrown behind the main office directly in the beam of a security light that stays on all night. The picnic are covered in bird poop. They do have showers and they were clean and comfortable. Close to the highway so traffic noise slowed down around 10pm. Not our…

Last Campground before Canada

Sparse but easy access and easy parking. Full hookups, showers(wear flip flops), WiFi in building. Stopped before crossing into Canada on our way to Alaska. This is a barebones campground but not much in this area and we wanted to plug in before heading north. Lots of prairie dogs and bunnies to…

Two Medicine

One of my favorite places to camp because it’s secluded off on East Glacier and has about 30-50 campsites available. Again, summer is crowded but worth it to stay here a few nights. The hiking is challenging with Dawson/Pitamakan Pass which is around 20-22 miles round trip but one of the best views…

Just Right (without a car)

I'm really glad we heard about this place. The views are gorgeous - quintessential mountains and lakes. We did the Sun Tours bus from East Glacier after getting off the train, which let us see all the touristy views north of here. Then we took the Glacier Park Inc shuttle from the lodge to this…
