Everything you need and more!

We needed a place to stop for a night while driving from Glacier to Yellowstone and enjoyed it here so much we ended up staying 3 nights! Every one of the staff members (and their parents who were visiting) were so friendly and accommodating, and you could tell they all worked hard and took pride…

A Hidden Gem

First of all, it’s free! Right off 89, 30 miles from 15. There is a bathroom, that’s clean enough. There are only two picnic table spots, but I was lucky enough to be one of only two vehicles parked for the night. The views are wonderful. It’s quite, and there are paths around the water. I took a…

Nice but windy and night and mosquitoes in the evening

Stayed there for a night arrived at 5pm and it’s an open area where you can find a table and camp there. I cooked and it was fine but late in the evening after sunset there will be lot of mosquitoes so better be prepared and there will lot gusting wind at night.

Great park and educational

Park is a nice area to relax with numerous walking trails. Fishing opportunities, FWP fish hatchery and one of the shortest rivers in the world (water coming up from Gaint Springs, feeding the river, comes undergrounds from 50+ miles away in the Big Belt mountains).

Tent Camping

The host here is great, and the local area is great. But if you are tent camping, beware. There is not really a good tent camping spot, as the sprinkler system will start every few hours and basically ruin your stay.

Nice surprise

We stopped here on the way to Glacier. We didn’t have a reservation but there was plenty of availability. Really nice people running the place. Super helpful and pleasant. Sites were flat and grassy, bathrooms always clean. Nice breeze at night even in a heat wave.

Basic RV park

We decided to not stay here, because we are tent camping this trip. If you have an RV or Trailer, this would be a good stop if you are in Great Falls.

Close to town

Best of both worlds. Close to town but also get the camping experience. Great fishing and plenty of room for everyone. Great hosts
