Bakers Hole Campground
Great setting, close to West Yellowstone
Stayed for 4 nights in #31. Electric hook-up and near water spigot & pit toilet.
My total cost per night (with senior discount) was $22 for an electric site. Without the senior discount... it is $35/night for electric site.
I'd correct a couple things in the Dyrt page.
1. There is no RV dump station at the campground. I traveled ~3 miles into West Yellowstone and for $30 dumped my tanks at the "Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park".
2. T-mobile coverage is poor. I typically had 1 bar, sometimes 2.
Also, they charge double for many of the pull-thru sites.
Other than those minor issues, I'd love to come back & stay here again. RV potable water fill up is at the sign-in kiosk. Pit toilets were very clean. The electric box at my site had the 30AMP toggle broken, so I used an adaptor and the 50 AMP. A maintenance fellow came by the next day to fix it. Campsite host was very friendly. Great setting and easy access to West Yellowstone. The drive into many of the Yellowstone NP attractions from West Yellowstone is long (~ 40 miles to Yellowstone River Falls/Canyon), so have plenty of gas.
The Madison River is the closest attraction in Yellowstone NP. I enjoyed buffalo, elk, Sandhill Cranes, Cinnamon teal, American Wigeon, Common Mergansers and Great Blue Heron's in the big meadows.
Arrived May 7, 2026 and had the pick of several electric sites and numerous non-electric. Madison River is a short walk and beautiful. Moose droppings and great moose habitat all along the campground river frontage. Except for the highway sounds during the day the site was quiet. The highway was very quiet at night.
