Almost feel sorry for the park system. All this rain & nowhere for it to go.
All in all it is a pretty nice park with level asphalt pads. Some full hook up, some w&e only. Didn't get to see most of the park as it was closed due to flooding. No cell service at all. Did not try the bath…
The park is beautiful: trees, swamp, lakes, and bayous. Some sites (28-33 at least) have small piers on the canal for fishing or taking out the kayak. There are multiple boat launches, one in and several near the campgrounds. You can also rent canoes.

I would suggest BREC Farr Equestrian RV Park if you are interested in being close Baton Rouge or LSU. A typical fairgrounds type camping area. Sites have electric and water. Remote dump site available. Bike path trailhead is there, with extensive pathways on the levee.
Great fishing, swimming, playground, walking trails! We had to be in this are for work and so glad we found this lake!
Its a diamond in the rough!!
We came here to stay after evacuating from hurricane Sally. We stayed 8 days. It’s a nice rv park. The pool is great. The lazy river has a great current, the best I’ve experienced so far, RV campground wise. Due to Covid restrictions, there were limitations and not much going on. Outside of that,…

March 18-20, 2019 Road to park very rough, mosquitos real bad, no Verizon, trails were flooded & looked like we were camping in a swamp. Showers, flush toilets, free washer & dryer use, electric, & water. Signs said to not dangle your feet at the dock because of the alligators. We went…

We stayed here this past weekend and really enjoyed our stay. The hiking trails are well maintained and easy to follow! We were able to kayak through a lot of water areas as well! The park rents canoes for people to use if you don’t have your own. We got to experience the Dutch Oven Society, which…

This is a busy weekend park within 2 miles of Morgan City, LA. It sits on the edge of a large freshwater lake and has great views. Many sites appear to be Big Rig Friendly. There are various sections of park to choose from. Easy access to park and paved roads inside park. Includes bathhouses,…

Kayaked the loop, it has been very rainy, trying to find a middle ground between dry firewood/ground and not being eaten alive by mosquitoes seems tough, but an overall great place to spend a day!

County equestrian and RV park close to downtown. Stayed here recently while attending an LSU football game. They have a shuttle that provides round trips to the stadium. Nothing fancy about Farr Park, just convenient if you love horses and football.
Nice campground. Great place to launch you’re boat and enjoy fishing. There’s a man made beach that’s nice for the kids and a really nice playground. They do have lots of snakes in the rocks along the water that like to “sun” themselves. Also it’s full of gators. So watch your kiddos in the water…
Its an aight spot to escape the city and not far from Lafayette. I like the grills and covered areas on the beach with the picnic tables. I don't like all the thick black oily mulch like substance in the water, its like quicksand and hard to swim in. This is not a tent camping area so I'm not sure…
Sites are a little close together, no shade. There is a nice pool with a lazy river, bring your own tube or float. There is a DJ or band on summer weekends. Golf carts allowed $15 for the weekend.
