Fantastic state park campground.

This campground on Poverty Point Reservoir is a well-maintained, scenic spot. Everything was very clean and the camp hosts were incredibly nice. Inside the loops, the views are fairly confined due to the maintenance of the natural vegetation for black bear habitat. We didn’t see any, but it’s made…

Excellent AR state park!

This park has it all! Campsites are level with all the amenities. Playground and recreation field are fantastic. You can rent bikes, kayaks, pedal boats and small fishing boats. My parents rented a cabin and it was immaculate. Honestly, there was not one negative thing for our 3 day stay. This park…

Nice and Quiet

This was our first outing in the RV and we had a blast! Nice, quiet isolated state park in the delta of Mississippi. We brought our kayaks and got some fishing done in alligator lake but inly after playing an 18 hole disc golf course!

Nice!

Very nice state park for its size. Ice storm has had its way here but they are cleaning up nicely. Bath houses stayed super clean all weekend. Park hosts were very nice. Walking trails were very clean around lake with TentRR glamping being added. 4 lake front premium spots. We were kicking enough…

good spot to lay-over

No issues with camp ground, small and on the hwy.... easy to stop in for the night. If you have a boat, nice lake across the street. full hook-up, 50amp pull through sites.

awesome park

Really nice like a resort. Tennis courts, swimming pool (closed for winter), horse shoe pit, laundry mat, disc golf, and awesome clean bathrooms. Very nice sites and BEAUTIFUL cabins. Great piers on a very nice lake with big, beautiful cypress trees. Just a beautiful, hilly campground on a gorgeous…

Great spot (we just overnighted)

Staff were very friendly and helpful. We stopped one night en-route from Dallas back to Tampa. Arrived in rain at sunset, but found site and back-in was easy. WiFi ok for email but not enough to stream. Had 2 bars in both Visible (Verizon) and Cricket (ATT). Want to come back, looks like a nice…

Great location and customer service.

Location is absolutely perfect for those traveling and need a nice overnight or decide to stay a few extra like I did. Great dock across the street with a clean property.

Overnighter

We stayed here one night on our way to Arkansas. $37.50 per night which was high for what you get. Sites were level enough that we didn’t unhook. Stayed here in a 29’ travel trailer. FHU.

Cleanest park I have ever seen.

This park also has the best bathhouses we have seen. Large swimming area, but it is down the rode a few miles at the marina. A lot of boat traffic from fishing. They do not allow sking.

Quiet & Spotless

Spent 2 nights here, it's really well taken care of. All the sites are level, many with lake views. Only two short hiking trails. Boating & fishing here is very popular with the locals. El Dorado about 23 miles away for groceries/supplies/liquids. Camp store on site has basics, like ice and…
