TravelerWe will definitely be coming back to Bee Springs! This was our maiden voyage in our new pull behind. We frequent Kentucky Lake and have stayed at other locations near by but this is our new favorite. Nice tree shaded sites, great lake view, ice vending and convenient boat ramp and dock. Shower house is a basic camp site shower house but the stalls are spacious. Also the owner George is amazing!
LegendSite 64 was a bit difficult to back into but very level once you get in. I think it has some of the best views in the campground. Lots of other campers had their boats moored along the shoreline, they were camping across the street in the shade. I had fun paddle boarding with the little dog in the inlet right off this campsite. This is a large campground with lots of activities, but I didn’t do any. We stayed right at the campsite. Land between the lakes it’s a beautiful historic area to explore as well. We did not use the bathroom since they were not close to our site, so I can’t comment on that.
LegendStayed in site 64 which had great views. Pad was level but a little difficult to back into because of one small tree. Not much shade on this site and it can get HOT! Did not use the bathrooms as they weren’t very close. So I can’t comment on that. I had a fun time paddle boarding in the little inlet right off this campsite. Lots of other campers had their boats moored along the shoreline. They were staying across the street. All in all I would say this is a nice campground and I would come back. There seem to be lots of amenities for the kiddos. Also, land between the lakes is a beautiful historic place to explore and this would be a good base camp for that.

LegendMade a quick last second stop here on a long road trip after was getting late. Great place! Several sites to choose from, first come basis. Find your spot and pay at the self serve area. Vault restrooms were clean, trails were nice although it was very wet and muddy so didn't get off paved trail. Many sites have electric.
ScoutWell the first night we camped, there was a massive thunderstorm with a tornado warning, ended up sleeping in the car, a couple trees fell in the campground so it was pretty scary. The rest of the trip was great though! Got a spacious site with plenty of room to set up our gear. Neighbors were friendly but not nosey. Bugs were definitely a bit of an issue but not too bad.
ScoutThey charge a $20.00 booking fee! Which was 50% the cost of my site! Are you kidding me! The thing is I never booked it, I walked in on a Tuesday when it wasn't busy. So the price was $68.00 for water and electric for one night not $40. It was also very noisey across the street from some rock/cement quarry.
