We’ll be back!

4.5 Rounded up. Restrooms and showers were clean. It was very active during one of the last weekends of the season. While quiet hours were observed, there was a lot of music, celebrating a Tennessee win with a golf cart parade and victorious choral singing of Rocky Top right up until 11pm. Beautiful lake views, good camp store and great amenities.

Great for boating/lake trip

Nice campground with electric hookups. One central dump station and multiple areas with community water spigots. Fill up your freshwater before you get to your site! Overall, I’d recommend if you can get a spot on the water, or you bring a boat. The inland spots can be a bit more cramped and there’s no view. Lots of golf carts driving around all day. Nice outpost store with most of the essentials including propane and firewood.

Fun 4 days

Our visit to Piney campground was good. Nice level spot with power. Nice playground. Bath house was cleaned every day. Large dumpsters for trash but no recycling nearby. Boat ramp was good plenty of shore to beach your boat. Some sites well shaded, some not.

Easy acces from Dover Tn off Hwy 79.

Really nice spots have both non electric and electric. With America Beautiful Pass only 8 dollars a night non. Lots of trees with lake access. Quiet too. Level gravel spot with fire ring and picnic tables

Great waterside locations

We took two different weekends at Piney Campground and both times were able to get waterside spots and drop the kayaks right in at the campsite.  There are a LOT of kids around riding bikes (so be careful driving) but people respect the campsites and do a good job of being good neighbors.

The best spots book up quickly, especially for long weekends so reserve EARLY if you want a specific date.

Great Family camp site!

Been going here since I was a kid. Its a great place to camp with great bike trails and everything you need. Little crowded and you will need to reserve out 3-4 weeks to get an electric spot.
