Had a great stay! Very family friendly! Mosquitos were Jurassic, bring spray!
I thought it was really cool that Kansas has fishing lakes with designated free campgrounds surrounding them. We were there during a very dry spell and smoke detector went off in our van because our windows were down and the dirt road leading to the lake was so dusty. We pulled in late evening and…
The site is nice once you get backed in but it’s very difficult to back into, almost impossible at night. The cross slope requires 3 or 4 of those plastic spacers. It has a common drive with the adjacent site
We camped at caving banks primitive area. Easy access to the shower house, nice breeze, successful fools gold hunt. Easy walk to the beach through the cottonwood grove to cool off. Wanted to camp on the northside to hike the trails easier but the shower house was broken over there.

The campground is gorgeous and you get a great lake view and access. There are full bathrooms and spacious lots.
This is a park with water hook ups. A large play ground and waking trail. At night though it gets creepy with the homeless lurking around
Nice place well stocked store. Close to gas and food but nothing really stands out except for the highway noise.
Very nice campground. Each RV site is equipped with a fire pit, gas grill, table, chairs and umbrella. Campground is very clean and quiet. They serve an amazing weekend breakfast at a very low price. Whether you are here overnight or for a few days, you will not be disappointed.
We stayed in this campground for a overnight stop on a car-camping road trip to CO. Our expectations were exceeded during our stay here by the beautiful scenery, the variety of birds to be seen from our camp site, the clean bathrooms, and friendly hosts. We reserved our spot easily over the phone…

A city maintained park in Lincoln Kansas with 30 and 50 amp plugs, dumping station, and a nice park next door. And $20! 😀

I visited the lake Wednesday/Thursday before 4th of July (Sunday) while passing through out west. Had difficulty find a place for a 6x10 cargo conversion camper. Most areas are muddy after rain. Overall quiet but expect locals to be in and out during summer months letting in kayaks and fishing.…
We had the last spot at the end of the drive, which seemed to be a popular place for day users to park and walk the edge of the water. Several groups showed up looking to cool off and walked right by our spot. Also the area kind of smelled like dead fish. We ended up leaving because we found…
Convenient location along I-70 meant lots of highway noise. My kids loved the ping pong, basketball, inflatable jump pad, old metal playground and outdoor pool. Mosquitos were bad at dusk and dawn. Sites were tight and the standard site we had didn't include a fire ring. Restrooms were clean but…
After having camped every night for the past several nights in cold weather, we decided to stay in a KOA Kamping Kabin this time. While we were in Colorado, it had gotten below freezing and it had snowed. It was time for a break. This campground should be rated on a scale of 1-10. I would give it a…
