Clarks Ferry

The spots are spaced out and angled nicely. Good view of the river. Has a nice handicap accessible dock. Very clean and well kept. The trains are noisy, other than that very quiet.

Awesome and quiet little campground with a fresh camp host. Amazing view of the skunk river and eagles flying nearby.

Camp on the Banks of the Mississippi

This Army Corps of Engineers’ campground is on the banks of the Mississippi River. Your federal pass gives you half price so the $20 nightly fee is reduced to $10.

Some sites are directly on the river. Site 13 seemed to be one of the best situated. We stayed in Site 12 which had a beautiful,…

Wonderful campground!

This is one of the nicest, cleanest campgrounds! Sites are spacious, bathhouse is spotless, campground host who checked us in was so friendly and welcoming! I loved this campground!

Large sites

Sites are large. Picnic tables in poor condition. Bathrooms need work. Very nice park if you have self contained unit.

Basic but Enjoyable

We stayed at Illiniwek for 2 weeks in our 2021 Keystone Hideout 250BH. They have water and electric sites as well as primitive (yet we didn't try or ask if we can camp on primitive with our RV, but there was a smaller motor home on one of the sites). The site was fairly level and had decent space…

Checks all the boxes

A ton to do here, very clean well kept grounds. Concrete pads. Sites seemed to be a decent size. Lots of activities that are included in the cost to stay here, which justifies the $99 per night. Free paddle boats, canoes, pool, kids crafts, indoor pingpong, indoor bags, indoor air hockey table, and…

Mesmerizing trees

Loved this place! We stayed in a tent only site, tucked in the middle of the trees. We had a ton of room to decide our camp site layout. The trees are gorgeous and felt so peaceful.

The campground host was very friendly and helpful. We picked up some firewood at the marina. They give you quite a…

Great spot to unwind and plenty for the kids to do!

Fantastic campground.
Facilities were well maintained and the staff was great!

Traveling with 3 younger kids and they enjoyed all the activities.

We'll be back here again, for sure.

Tall trees and unique hiking trail system

This is an interesting spot. The camp host engaged us in conversation and we learned about their Alaskan dreams. We ended up in the campsite right across from the host. It was busy but we had plenty of space so it worked out nicely.

The tall trees gave plenty of shade. Restrooms were a short…

Easy on/off the interstate

This is our 3rd time visiting this KOA. We've yet to be disappointed! No traffic noise. Our site was across from the picnic area & we had a nice view of the lake. Nice place to relax after a day on the road. Clean bathrooms & showers. We didn't use the pool, but it looked nice. Easy on/off…
