Kid loved it!

Went here for my birthday this year and took my video game addicted daughter who ended up begging to stay another night and loved it here 😁

Basic but Enjoyable

We stayed at Illiniwek for 2 weeks in our 2021 Keystone Hideout 250BH. They have water and electric sites as well as primitive (yet we didn't try or ask if we can camp on primitive with our RV, but there was a smaller motor home on one of the sites). The site was fairly level and had decent space between sites. The water at the sites tastes funky so we opted to buy jugs of water from the store.

The sunsets on the Mississippi were beautiful each evening!

The campground had firewood for sale and a nice playground for kids. The campground is also right next to a biking trail. There was public and private bathrooms. The private ones were only accessible to campers that received a key from the park office. It was nice that they were private but they weren't kept up that well and had storms of mud-dabbers on the outsides of the building. The insides of the bathrooms were kept very clean. One of the shower stalls in the women's restroom did not work but the other worked just fine with nice water pressure. The showers were stalls with a shower curtain. There were benches and hooks with a small wall blocking it to keep your stuff dry.

While we were staying here a wind storm came through and knocked down a tree right behind our camper. Luckily it fell away from our camper and there was no damage. As soon as the storm was over they had a tractor come haul the tree away so it wasn't blocking the road anymore. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. -1 star for the buildings having so many bugs making homes on them.

Very nice

One of the best places we’ve camped of the last 2 weeks on the road. Fifth wheel parked no problem. Well kept property and right on the river. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very reasonably priced. Although it was first come first served we had no problem getting a space on the 4th of July weekend. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was the train tracks n road traffic being as we were on the back row right next to both. Still wasn’t bad though.

Great RV Site

Large RV site with electrical and water hook-up at each spot. Office is open Mon-Sat til 8 pm. They sell firewood. You are right on the Mississippi and that ain’t nothing to sneeze at. Tent camping also allowed. You are near the train tracks but the noise is barely discernible.

Nice spot on the Mississippi

This campground is quite nice for the cost. Sites have decent spacing, and during the week it seems to be only 20% full. Bathrooms with showers. Some road noise, but overall a great spot to fishing or just relax.

Very Interesting Campground

For starters...we were a little confused when staying here. One of the bathrooms was locks due to the Covid19 issues so no big deal...there were not many people staying here. There is a section of the campground where you can camp right on the edge of the Mississippi River which is nice, but you must deal with people fishing the entire time. There are signs that tell them not to do that but it is not strictly enforced.

We stopped here for the day so that we could bike around east moline on the trail and it was a perfect location for the trail as the access is literally on the edge of camp and through the campground. We only stayed one night as we moved over to a closer campground for the electric hookups and water views.

Good fishing can be found here. Good little campground on the river. They do have an office with a little store so that helps. Staff was very helpful with knowledge about the trail and the area.
