Nice Campground for a couple nights

We were in Site 113 in the back of the park.  Pull through gravel site.  Sites are very close.  No privacy. We had a nice chat with our friendly neighbors though. Fenced Dog Park but it was dirt. No grass. Nice, clean pool!  Laundry facility was nice.  AT&T, T-Mobile Cell Service great. Drove…

Good spot away from the Interstate

Nice sites for an overnight stop over away from the noise and traffic of the interstate.

A little difficult to find but once we did we had a very peaceful night under a star filled sky.

Keep free camping alive by keeping campsites litter free.

A little clean up goes along way.

Nice, lovely staff, crowded

We only stayed here for one night, the location is pretty good and the staff (which is all a huge family) are super nice. The campground is nice too, it's just very crowded, the RVs/campers are side by side and there's not much privacy. Other than that it was lovely.

Nice for a quick night

Passing through and this made for a great stopover. Easy parking. Amenities are clean. Kids loved the pool. Store has lots of basics plus souvenirs. Campground is a flat gravel lot with a few trees.

Excellent Campground with Unexpected Amenities

When driving through Gallup, one doesn't expect to find such a great place to land on Route 66. On the surface it may appear to be a great over-nighter location - which it is! Level pull-through sites with a picnic table.  But it's so much more than that. First the business seems to be comprised…

Gallup’s a great stop & a big pride in ownership campground

The place was pretty backed when we finally rolled in at 9pm! My latest arrival and hopefully the only time we arrive so late. The kids were thrilled to learn the pool was open another hour after the long long drive we had today. The check in was quick and the staff very polite & helpful. The…

Quick and Remote

Right off I-40, this little gem is tucked just to the side of the interstate. Gravel roads to get to the sites but we made it to a site with a little Honda Accord without issues. Open areas with a huge beautiful sky overhead.

Clean and simple in Gallup

We stayed here two nights, one going and one coming back. This is a clean, simple family run camp ground in Gallup, NM. It’s basically a large gravel camp ground with few trees, but very well maintained. There are like 177 sites, and very few long term campers here. We liked it for what it was and…

So. Much. Space.

Small campground with massive campsites. This campground could easily squeeze double, if not triple, the sites out of these woods, but someone decided to let everyone breath a little here, and we should thank that someone. Granted, it's a small crawl to one of the only two bathroom huts (each with…

Great Spot in Gallup

This is a really nice RV park on the West side of Gallup with easy access to I-40. It was a perfect overnight stop but would be good for longer stays as well. Access through the park is great, sites are gravel, level, and good size. We had a pull through site which was about 80 feet long and nice…

Perfect spot for a few days of camping no no

We are doing a trip across the country, looking for cheap to free campsite and this one wast perfect. Right off the Interstate, the sign can be easily missed so keep an eye out. We drove 3 miles down a dirt road before picking our spot. You could easily park anywhere but they have some spots with…

Clean, quiet, organized & friendly

Great place to stop & relax. Laundry room large & comfortable. Bathrooms clean. Friendly staff. Only negative is that tent spots don’t have much shade & one picnic table needs replacing.

Right next to the highway, but you’d never know it was there

We just needed a place to spend the night and arrived late in the evening, so unfortunately we weren’t able to explore the area. We only drove about 1.5 miles passed the gates, but we saw several camp spots with fire rings. The road is grated and well maintained. We really weren’t sure what to…
