Stay here!!!

One of the best appointed rv parks we’ve seen! Sites are close to each other but it actually provides a cozy atmosphere on the grounds. A disco/star lamp at night lit up the trees. Charming! Walkable to town. Full of art and crafts from the owners. Would love to return.

Great Dispersed Camping!

It's about a 6 miles drive in on a forest road. Nice gravel road and well maintained.

Dozens of spots to park your rig with tree cover along the main loop. Lots of small roads off of the main loop with more camp spots. Some of those roads were not accessible by our van, as they are a little…

Fills up fast but plenty of dispersed camping all along the road.

We tried to stay at this site on a Tuesday in late May, all 3 spots were filled. So we continued down the road where there are lots of other dispersed options just right off Cave Canyon Road. No facilities just rock fire pits. Lots of access to trails (hiking, biking, and horse access only). …

It's OK

We camped here because it looked pretty on Google. It's a quaint little campground and we were lucky to get a spot on the river. No cell service but, wifi is strong! It's super quiet. Note that if you have a shower in your rv, you will not get access to showers! The girl that checked us in was nice…

Nice dispersed camping

A nice place to disperse camp vault toilets, the campground is at approximately 8000 ft. I observed elk crossing my campsite. A very nice place to camp in the summer to escape the heat. Near the town of Corona.

Baca is the ultimate in dispursed camping

Baca dispersed camping is a great camping area that has a lot to offer. Very remote, lots of wildlife, elk, coyotes, roadrunners. This place was once a CCC camp in the 1930s,. There is no water on the premises so you must bring your own. No trash faculties, so pack it in, pack it out. Only 15…

Clean, secluded USFS campground

Gem of a USFS campground in the Cibola National Forest near Corona, NM. Can get crowded on weekends and most especially during Fall hunting season.

Note that directions from Maps/Dyrt tries to send you the wrong way off County Rd 22, so follow the brown signs to the campground and you can’t miss…

Such a beautiful place

We took our new little camper and two daughters to Baca Campground for a quick overnight. We live in Roswell and it is only a short drive to this campground. We got there around 5 or so on a Saturday night and it was not busy at all. Bathrooms were open and that is a big sell for us as our camper…

Nicely Isolated!

The other review is spot on, nice small campground with pit toilets and no amenities.  If you are looking to get away, this is the place!   Yes, there is some livestock.  It is a beautiful campground.

Small free camping site

Not a lot to say a small parking lot at the end of the road. Two trails lead from the lot there are a few good tent sites right by the lot. The lot is mostly flat and has a three night limit.

Small, tidy, clean park

Campground is ok.  Not a lot going on, no pool, exercise room or anything like that.  There is a decent laundry facility.  Roads and sites are gravel.  Hook ups are good, water is extremely hard.  Some sites are very close together.  A lot of mule deer and elk roaming around. AT&T was good with…

Very welcoming, fastidiously clean and maintained

We stopped for an overnight stay while driving cross country, solely based on reviews here. We found it to be a whimsical, very relaxing place. Eclectic decor is artistic and harmonious with the setting-never forced or tawdry like so many others. Owners were quite engaged and helpful, and…

Simple, off the beaten path, nothing fancy but works!

Stayed here back in May 2020. It's on BLM land so no fee, first-come first-serve. Very small little stretch just off the side of the road with a bathroom, tables, and small firepits.  Also some concrete slabs to put your tent on if you want, including some sites with covered slabs to keep the sun /…
